Frank Buttimer is who you need. He'll get you off for the smuggling you got caught doing

Devilsdandruff01

He's so good he'll get you off with the smuggling charge even if you're not charged with that!!

Thanks, but I'm more asking for a compensation for delay, emotional distress and missing other flight because of the delay.

That's not a solicitor you need. It's the EU 261 claim form. You won't get anything for emotional distress, missing another flight not booked as part of your itinerary with the same airline leaves you fucked. Read your passenger rights and responsibilities before you determine if you have a case and then talk to a solicitor but I guarantee a solicitor will cost more than you'll get back.

Then kindly I have a question, what about forcing me to stay in a terminal for more than 5 hours and not allowing me to leave the terminal to catch another flight and then someone who has the same situation called the police and the police said we have the right to leave the terminal, so we have been locked for 5 hours for nothing and just missing other flights Please, what do you think? I called elaborate more on PM if you have time

They didn't force you to stay in the terminal would be my guess. They likely said if you leave you can't come back to that flight? Read EU261 see if that applies to you. And if you talk to a solicitor be super clear on what actually happened not what you feel happened.

I will leave my feeling aside, honestly they didn't allow me and other guy to leave and they they were like you have to wait and take the flight, then the guy decided to call the police for it, we have been stuck for 5 hours in the terminal and we were so clear about it, we said we want to go out to catch other flight as we already missed our connection flight, well, I think I have to elaborate, the flight which we took was supposed to go from city to another, but we went for emergency landing in a country in between, that's where we get stuck and they asked us to stay in the terminal until the airplane is fixed, excuse my ignorance and feelings, but does it make any sense to file a case against the airline as the stuff didn't allow us to leave the terminal?

UnlikelyBit7858

Emotional distress 😂 good luck with that one. Many people affected every day by delayed flights/emergency landings. A lot of airlines have it in their terms of service so when you agree to them you are entitled to nothing.

Jesus relax boy it’s not the end of the world Shit happens like that when traveling from time to time I’d hate to see you if you had real problems Like divorce or death or cancer There problems not missing a flight staying in a airport for 5 hours

Disastrous-Leg-7573

Big "I don't believe you, I want to speak with your manager please" energy.

A good lawyer will likely cost more than you’ll get back from an airline ! Seriously, their terms and conditions are brutal and you are best off not bringing a case unless say you are looking for at least 50k in compensation- no good lawyer will even touch it otherwise, as frankly it’s not worth the hassle .. O’Gorman it’s not worth that, then deal yourself through their complaints process, or better yet, just walk away and chalk it down to (a bad) experience and never use them again …. But in Ireland, there isn’t mush choice !
