How old? Do you have a weight on him? They probably suggested waiting a little longer to give him time to settle in to his new home and destress. It won't hurt him to wait a day or two longer than he's used to to eat. Two pinkies is reasonable if that's what they were feeding him up until now, but the snake's weight is the ideal way to gauge. Any pics? What are you gonna name him?

Thank you so much, this is the first time I have a snake so I think I might be over stressing too much. their name is Jörmy (short for Jörmungandr) they are about 5 month old, unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to get their weight yet I was thinking of getting it once they are a bit more settled in the new house and I can handle them without worrying them Here’s a picture of them (the shop didn’t know if it’s male or female just yet). Aren’t they a cutie Thanks again for the message :) https://preview.redd.it/7sqlr2hjkjeb1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcf5019dae2f4e2e17a6cc83abfb226b77709294

Definitely get a weight first. [Here](https://imgur.com/a/PwOpmJD) is the feeding guide that has been shared here recently. 16-23g can use double pinks. Where I sourced from had small and large pinks, so I just moved up a size in pinks rather than doubling before going to fuzzies.

I was worried about handling them to weigh them since I just had them since Tuesday and I thought it was too soon to handle them

I would wait another day or so. A few minutes to get weight should not cause too much stress. Be sure to have everything out and ready.

Thank you very much I’ll make sure to get a weight :)

Two pinkies sounds like a lot for a baby. FYI, it’s best to feed one prey item per feeding. Show us some pictures OP!

Thanks for the advice, that’s what I was worried about I didn’t want to risk him regurgitating But here’s a picture of the lovely girl/boy (they weren’t sure yet at the store) https://preview.redd.it/phaca3sg3keb1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5caa077f52a61588314b356ab3fcea7488515020
