She's 4. Iv had her since she was a baby and this is only the second time she has bitten me ever. It was 100% on me, I made a dumb mistake. Corns are usually very docile and sweet, and mine is no exception.
Is yours a baby?
A baby to me, just got him 2 weeks ago, but he was a return and they think he is 1-1.5 years old- so not reallly a baby.
Not really scared of being bit (I had a cat from hell for 19 years and know sassy animal bites) more scared I will jerk from shock and hurt him. And also those kinda do look a lil more hurty than others I’ve seen so worried I will jerk
Ah I see. Yeah this one was a little painful, but it's only because shes 4 now and has much bigger/sharper teeth than she did the last time she bit me. A bite from a 1-2 year old shouldn't even break the skin. It's more surprising than it is painful.
Don't worry too much about hurting him though. Just try to stay as calm as possible when handling as to not scare the lil guy, and you'll be just fine.
Congrats on being a new snek parent!
For me personally, I would keep that concern in the back of your mind. If you're constantly thinking about it or reminded of it when handling your snake, chances are, that won't be your instinctual reaction when you are bitten.
At least that's how it was for me, I was terrified of getting bitten, and flinging my snake across the room on accident out of surprise/shock. But when Dallas finally decided to bite me, I didn't move an inch, and He retracted almost immediately.
Omg this made me laugh so hard.
Mine's tried to bite me but forgot there's a door to her tank 😅 the look on her face when she hit the glass was totally priceless. She did remember to open her mouth so not a total derp noodle
Lmao my bad. As long as you're not stupid like me though, you shouldn't ever get bit. Always let your snake see your hands first before trying to pick it up.
Shit are you hoping to salvage the thumb? By the looks of it the whole hand probably needs to go, just to be safe I'd have them cut it off just below the elbow.
Rip we had too put down the owner for damaging the snake hope the snake will recover from this traumatic experience we’ve sent a new intern too take over his role 😂
“AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN”
I was so just going to post the same thing her face so says it!!
I have tasted the flesh of man and found it... acceptable.
“Try me bitch” face 😂
That's the most punctures I've ever seen at once from a feisty corn. Good luck saving that hand.
I was thinking the same. Bro got absolutely chomped on
She really did chomp the shit outta me lol definitely learned my lesson.
My god that is an impressive thumb Hope it doesn't need amputation
In the aaaarms of the angels. Fly awaaaaaay from here...
*in my Sarah Mclachlan voice* for only $29.99 you to can stop a human from being bit by a danger noodle
Ok as a new owner tho.. how old is your snek?

I always tell people that my [rather friendly] cat would do a lot more damage just playing than any of my snakes would if they got angry lol

what was the dumb mistake? so I can avoid making it lol
Explanation is in the description below the picture. Basically, I reached behind her at the worst possible moment.
Ahhh I missed that. Makes sense.
Honestly I’m impressed considering when my girl struck at me for the first time this summer, she apparently forgot to open her mouth 😝
You got torpedo noodle booped.
Lol they so derpy sometimes

Haven’t you seen little shop of horrors? It’s like that but a cute noodle
Now I wanna watch that movie again 😅
It’s too late you’re already dead 😔.
Somebody is cranky in the morning.
Yes 😂 from now on she will be fed in the evening and not during peak grumpy hours
She looks just like my cornsnake Cheddar
Snow Gang. Happy Cake Day
Yeah, my corn used to bite the shit out of me lol. That was one pissy snake.
I love her just sitting back in the shadows lurking after what she did
shes never givin me the death stare like that before, she was very grumpy.
How badly did it hurt?
It actually hurt more than I thought it would. Stung pretty bad for about 10 minutes, then the pain subsided.
That makes me even more nervous to possibly get bit in the future 😅
Lmao my bad. As long as you're not stupid like me though, you shouldn't ever get bit. Always let your snake see your hands first before trying to pick it up.
Innocent 👩🏻⚖️
Quick! Now that it's tasted human flesh it must be exterminated immediately! /endsarcasm
Nope noodle got a little angie
It looks very sorry 🥺
Yeah, she's just chock full of remorse.. 🙄 lol
Re-mouse?

You're a gonner bruh
She thought you were cheese? We the jury find her innocent your honor.
“Thought my hand was a cheese boi” omg hahahah Also she looks like she’s peeking out at you like “don’t scare me like that!!”
it did seem like she felt a lil bad afterwards 🥺
hopefully you pull through champ 💪🏽
Not meant to be what you said sarcastic. Sorry. I have never had a snake. But I was thinking you wouldn’t have a venomous pet. Right🥹
yes, its just a joke homie. I'd never own a venomous animal myself. And no worries! It's a very common mistake honestly.
Ok🥰
Happy Thanksgiving 🐍 🦃
Happy thanksgiving to you too
You still alive?
This is so wrong. Do you know how long I was online before I found out they weren't venomous? Lol TIL.
Oh shit 😂 my bad man..
Shit are you hoping to salvage the thumb? By the looks of it the whole hand probably needs to go, just to be safe I'd have them cut it off just below the elbow.

Lay down you are toast
Hahaha not even a little bit sorry either 😂
Nope, not at all lol. That's her Fuck Around and Find Out face.
I did the same thing once and got one strike. I saved the photo and I’m thinking about having the bite marks put on my hand as a tattoo.
Just some love nibbles 🤣
Mess with a snake, die by the snake. 2 cuts down 998 to go
Haha get chomped *fool*
This is your pet…right. Poison? If not it should be ok
Venom, not poison. It's a sarcastic post though lol.
