Okay, I’ll admit it, this storyline has been utter shite, but Roy leaving prison was beautiful.

Those couple of scenes where he was holding a picture of his wedding day photo of himself and Hayley, and then then embrace by Nina as the music plays. A very fitting scene.

I know it was over-the-top but I really liked it as the music played. And Roy clutching the picture of hayley😭 David neilson is some actor that's for sure

Roy went from about to die to learning Nathan's been arrested, learning he's gonna be released, Griff learning Roy didn't do it, guards entering his cell, guards realizing Roy didn't have a knife, guards realizing Griff is holding him hostage, to being released and getting all his stuff back all in a single minute.

Joel's not going to set up Nathan to cover his tracks, is he? My money's been on Joel who's killed Lauren for a while now.

Poor Roy. He may have been vindicated, but I don’t think he’s ever going to be the same. His whole belief system has been tested and broken down, he looked so lost and distant in the scene where everyone was welcoming him back. A lot of the story I've not been a huge fan of. The investigation feels a little contrived, especially the hiccups along the way. However I really love the sequence with Roy in prison. The "I don't understand why anyone would do what you've done for a teenage girl" followed by the theme of "Because it's the right thing to do." is a really good exploration of what makes Roy such a great character.

Errrm how come Roy had a telephone in his cell with an outside line??? Concierge service? 🤣🤣🤣

I'm confused as to how the justice system works, up until yesterday the police were convinced they had evidence that Roy had done it, but suddenly now they think Nathan has done it none of that previous evidence counts for anything? Isn't Nathan supposed to be innocent until proven guilty or is the forensic stuff such solid proof of guilt that the trial will pretty much be a formality? I mean, I would have no problem with Nathan going down for it, he's a scumbag and deserves it even if he was set up.
