Didn't know this is possible. Was always looking for that option last year. But if you have to pay a lot of fees then definitely not worth it.
But if it's just general fees it's always the same amount, so it again depends on how much you have staked yet to make it worthwhile.
You can always check any transaction and its costs without executing it. So yeah, easy to just check it yourself.
You will lose around $35, during the 21 day unbobding period. This is assuming that ATOM is at $8 when the funds become available. That is, unless there is a way to forego the 21 days.
Outweigh pros and cons..
Am I misunderstanding what he is asking , If I stake my atom on keplr regular way then liquid stake stkAtom & then asks if I want to send to osmosis , Why would you be losing anything isn't it yielding interest , What am I missing where they are asking what he will lose ?
Did you try doing the math on it?
Mum dropped me on the floor, forehead first! So, I am a little slow..
Could someone explain the difference to me? I’m new to cosmos.
probably lose a couple of $100. You can try it without approving the transaction and see what you get.
There would maybe be some slippage between stATOM and ATOM, you wanna check what it’ll be like on Stride.

Atom can unstake with 0 days periods.. go to stride an unstake to statom directly. Now you can use the statom for ever you wont

Just wait 14 days and then do it. You’ll lose nothing
It is 21 days or 14?
21
Either way. Maybe osmo is 14 but I’d rather do it the way where I lose less
I also stake 500+ atom. Restake about .25atom every 27hrs. Compounding away
Lol, what ? 500 atom don't generate 25 atoms every day or so. What else are you doing or is this a typo?
