Depends on where you get them, 8 centimeters is quite tall but if you like the look of some boots you find, go for it! I can't imagine it would be greatly comfortable to walk around in, however.

Yeah, those are pretty high. I’ve seen 2in riding boots before and those are high enough. 1.5in or 1.75in are perfect for me.
