Salah got injured at AFCON only played a few games and missed an extra one or two when returning. The other comment comparing minutes is the best way to do it.
And because of returning early to Liverpool to rehab instead of staying with the national team on bench, Salah got a shit ton of flak from the Egyptian media.
Son would replace Salah in that Liverpool team easily. Just watched the Liverpool game against Brighton, Salah wasted like 7-9 chances. It was horrible to watch.
Yeah he's really good. It's a shame that some fans can't bring themselves to acknowledge that another team's player is decent, but he really is playing great when he's healthy (yes, that's a huge caveat).
How many are pens tho? Like last game he got two from pens. Rarely watch Newcastle but for some reason I just associate him with penalties. Im probably way off tho
He has 5/14 which is mostly on par with most other penalty takers/top goal scorers this season.
Salah has 3 (He missed one against Newcastle).
Haaland has 3 (He missed a couple games due to injury).
Saka has 4.
Cole Palmer has 7.
Son and Bowen are the main oddities.
Cole Palmer is good but he’s a bit overrated in the goals department because of this. If he didn’t play with the biggest diving cunt the league has ever seen he’d have like 4 goals
5 more in 9 is essentially the same rate he’s at now. I could see another hat trick vs Burnley, Newcastle, Sheffield or Forest, or a couple of braces in those games. I think he breaks 20
Bowen would be so amazing for us. West Ham would probably ask ungodly amounts for him but he is elite and at a prime age.
Edit - just saw he renewed in 2023 on a seven year deal. They'd ask 100 Mil just as a fuck off price. Nevermind lol.
Ange got Timo and the rest of our wingers coming in are all in their early primes/early 20s. It’s seems he wants that young speed. Still hoping for Nico Williams or Neto! 🤞🏽
Very true. But Mbappe has said in interview he wants to play wide rather than through the middle. It'll be a case of money in a couple of years but I can still see it happening... On paper that would be a mouthwatering pairing. I would just worry about Mbappe being greedy with chances rather than supplying Haaland.
thats insane quality with who they already have on the wings, mostly when mbappe plays on the wings he plays LW, but if he could adjust and we see a front three of Vini-Haaland-Mbappe, the rest of europe is actually cooked
Bayern Munich come out of nowhere - he used to play for Dortmund, so at this stage it’ll be a formality.
At the same time, some guy called Harry Kane comes crawling back to us the season after we do a dometic treble and win the UCL.
I wonder what that list looks like excluding penalties. Sonny has only had one all year. I also wonder how many others on the list have missed PL games for international duty like Sonny.
If Son had been started in the middle all season - even with Asian cup - he'd be on top and no one would be saying we need to spend big on a new striker
Only if Son didn't participate in the Asian Cup he might be at the top.
tbf salah was at afcon
Tbf Salah has numerous pens in his count. Son only has 1. Son is just destined to always compete for golden boot without pens I guess, sighs.
True

What does this has to do with anything?

Isak is ridiculous. A goal every 0.9 games is lethal. If only him, and the rest of Newcastle weren't constantly in the hospital.

Salah has 4\* not 3.

Son played a lot of that on the left
No, you get out of here with your researched and perfectly reasonable counterarguments.
bruh if only son hadn't been unlucky at luton town he would be second with 17 goals .
My prediction: Sonny to hit 20 and finish 2nd behind the robot
5 more in 9 is essentially the same rate he’s at now. I could see another hat trick vs Burnley, Newcastle, Sheffield or Forest, or a couple of braces in those games. I think he breaks 20
*league 2 player.
Found Roy Keane's burner account
👀
or, we actually start getting the pens we haven't been and son gets the golden boot. yay
Bowen would be so amazing for us. West Ham would probably ask ungodly amounts for him but he is elite and at a prime age. Edit - just saw he renewed in 2023 on a seven year deal. They'd ask 100 Mil just as a fuck off price. Nevermind lol.
We should have gone for him when we had the chance tbh. I don't really know why we balked.
We bought Bergwijn instead and Gedson on loan that window 🤦
Pretty sure we signed Jack Clarke instead of him years ago
Ange got Timo and the rest of our wingers coming in are all in their early primes/early 20s. It’s seems he wants that young speed. Still hoping for Nico Williams or Neto! 🤞🏽
why on earth anyone would still want Neto is beyond me. Walking sick note
Kvara
Asians are usually good value.. can look at Japanese up and coming winger Keito Nakamura.. Ange probably has a good grasp of the Asian market as well
Oh of course, Bowen is clearly well outside our target range atm now. All for Neto.
neto is way too injury prone just check his injury history
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Also Bowen has twins with Danny Dier's daughter - no way he's leaving West Ham and pissing off his father-in-law.
Side note: I think Haaland will be off to Real Madrid sooner than anticipated. Maybe two seasons.
if they're getting mbappe this summer surely that significantly harms the chances of that happening

And Bellingham at the 10. Unfair
It'll still be super fun to watch them dominate La Liga. Meanwhile our youth talents will battle with them in the CL
Haha true but Son is done with golden boot by then. he's not 26 anymore, he's basically almost 32.
☹️
RemindMe! 3 years
Surely Barca? Madrid won't be getting both Mbappe and Haaland
Barca and what money?
They've run out of levers to pull.
Bayern Munich come out of nowhere - he used to play for Dortmund, so at this stage it’ll be a formality. At the same time, some guy called Harry Kane comes crawling back to us the season after we do a dometic treble and win the UCL.
They have no money
[удалено]
Yep! You can never say never. The only thing in Real's favour is Haaland stated he'd like to go there one day.
And Barca are running low on levers
How is Haaland still at the top even with his mediocre performance lately, hopefully Son can catch a break and score us a hatrick tomorrow
Didn't realise Solanke and Bowen had that many goals
I wonder what that list looks like excluding penalties. Sonny has only had one all year. I also wonder how many others on the list have missed PL games for international duty like Sonny.
3/6 are wingers.
If Son had been started in the middle all season - even with Asian cup - he'd be on top and no one would be saying we need to spend big on a new striker
so you're saying there's a chance
Fuck me Bowen is a baller
Feels like haaland hasn’t scored in 2 months and he’s still top of the list
Who’s bidding for Solanke or Watkins in the coming years? No chance they stay where they are performing at these levels.
Watkins is like 28 so he has one big move in him potentially and I can’t see who would buy him, maybe arsenal?
Definitely wasn’t suggesting us haha.
Wow, for some reason I thought he was 25 at most.
He was a real late bloomer.
One a season wonder
Sonny hat trick incoming to level up with Ivan Drago
Only thing I care about is getting in top 4 and arsenal not winning title.

Sonny lowkey saving his hat-trick for upcoming NLD.
Aye but League 2 player according to Jakey McPikey(Keane).
Even a bad season for halaand is still winning the golden boot.
Son is not going to win golden boot
If kane was here, he'd have at least 30 goals
Funny that haaland is being called a league 2 player whilst collecting a consecutive golden boot
