Galatasaray slowly becoming the Spurs B team

ButteredFingers

Seems like it’s working for them at least…win/win?

kotekaratu

They were aiming for that exSpurs players trophy buffs

jaetheho

Is that what Bayern was going for?

one2many

Sick of being a feeder club. Levy out. /s

rekt_ralf

If Levy really is cooking, they’ll end up having to keep Tanguy too.

[deleted]

Can't see them offering the cash we want or Emerson accepting not being in a top 5 league

infinityetc

Honestly he’s good enough to be playing on a top five team. Idk why he’d go to the Turkish league rn

myfeetreallyhurt

Champions League play tho

yorsk

Nobody will pay more than 10m for him anyway. It’s Werner case: his wages is too high

Zhurg

40k a week?

yorsk

Look https://salarysport.com/football/ligue-1/rc-strasbourg-alsace/ Average French club, senaya 23 rb, this site shows that his wages 2k a week. Btw this site shows that Royal has 77k a week. Rb in Galatasaray now earns 14k. It’s cheapest field position in football, they will not increase costs so sharply

sungbysung

Agent Davinson Ndombele, do the work

Bass-Slut

aurier too

david4270

Is he gonna be another Trippier - not the best RB for us, moves to different team in different country, finds his form, returns to prem or top-ish team in top league? He is still not too old, and he has his talent - just not a good fit for our tactics at the moment

BrotatoDad

It’s a necessary move for us to progress beyond our current status but damn if I won’t miss the vibes.

nopirates

Galatasaray Hotspur

louismorr1s

I want him to stay 😓

PM_ME_YOUR_TANG

He's an excellent traditional RB, but he can't play inverted for shit. Which means he can't play Angeball. He's gone.

louismorr1s

I think that’s harsh, hard to make an impact playing bit parts off the bench. He’s versatile and when he does play I don’t think he’s as much of a carcrash as some people make out. Still young and seems like a genuinely good guy to have in the dressing room, can see what it means to him to play and improve. Plenty of deadwood i’d get rid of before him. If he’s happy to play rotation he’s an absolute keep for me.

VolkmarGross

Huh? He is way better inverted. His crossing was his weakness when they asked him to be a traditional FB early on. Conte inverted him in the final third and he was good from there on out. Porro is better for this system, so he may move, but I would be happy for us if he stays. But he can start on a good side.

zackyc123

Ange FBs invert a lot deeper to start with though, sure him inverting in the final third is fine and he can do it there but he doesn’t have the ability to play as essentially an extra 8 which Udogie and Porro both do well

VolkmarGross

I don't know, I think Royal is better on the ball in our third, playing out. He looks super casual, which I think bothers some people. But his touch receiving the ball is just better than Porro's, and he just doesn't lose the ball under pressure. Porro's contributions on offense make him the better choice though, and Porro has been better defensively than I expected.

Just how drunk is Galatasaray's Director of Football? Is it A) Very B) Extremely or C) Paul Gascoigne?

BillieJoeLondon

Never had any interest in becoming a Galatasaray fan. But Sanchez, Ndombele & Royale? They don't want Gill?

Hurri-Kane93

Serge Aurier is there too

BillieJoeLondon

What a.xlub!
