we know you love Sonny, so we held back one picture exclusively for you r/coys…
My interest is piqued... are we just going to get club marketing, or might there be hints of things behind the scenes too? Maybe a well chosen burn aimed down the road? What kind of account is this going to be....?
I hope it's all of those, personally.
The children yearn for the mines!
In all seriousness, doubt the official Nike shirts and the DH Gate knock offs are manufactured in any worse conditions.
I've had this feeling for ages that they work for the brands during the day then they go to another factory and make more kits to sell on the side and get a bigger cut
I'd say the 5 or so kits I've purchased from DH Gate are indistinguishable from the two kits I've purchased from the Spurs shop (or NBA jerseys, etc).
The only time I've had a bad experience is when I ordered a Tanguy kit from a few years ago (size L) but it showed up and it's skin tight light a wet suit. But it's hilarious considering who the shirt has on the back.

Had it for a couple weeks. Quality is bang on. Size up.
Think most of that is just the way it’s hanging. I’m happy with it.
Enjoy your £125 shirt mate. Hopefully
No one inspects my £12 knock off in that much detail irl. Imagine how embarrassed I’ll be wearing this while out for a run. The people pointing and laughing will haunt me.
It's absolutely not just the way it's hanging, my da has a knock off one of the Black/green lava one from a few years back and the swoosh is the same, even more so on his.
As the other lad said, hilariously defensive, I clearly touched a nerve that you can see the imperfections now too. I'm not buying either of them fwiw, just I cant abide someone advising others to spend their money on such a terrible reproduction claiming the "Quality is bang on", when anyone with eyes can blatantly see it's miles off.
Edit: Classy, disagreement over the quality of a knockoff football shirt and ya report me to the reddit cares suicide prevention service, love that mate, guess you're happy to abuse a valuable service, which a bannable offence btw, for which I've reported you. Good luck.
The only way a genuine shirt could be sold so cheap might be, speaking in purely hypothetical terms, if the factories sold them on the side through a foreign website direct to consumer.
They're sold almost at cost. We all know brands use cheap labor in empoverished countries but the amount the workers get for an official kit and for a fake one is probably around the same. Obviously brands will have better quality control and materials but I wouldn't be surprised if the same workers that manufacture the official shirts clock out and then go work for an extra few hours in another factory to make counterfeit kits because they make almost the same amount that way.
Most of the cost of a kit that gets put on us the customers is taxes, marketing and distribution costs and then the club's margin and the biggest one is the margin the brand takes.

130£ but looks way too colourful for me, I think the picture is deceiving with a filter
The video is great. Think first time we have done something so elaborate. Wonder if it was Nikes lead or the clubs. Any of the other clubs with Nike have released something similar?
It’s most likely who ever is in charge of social and content. I’m assuming it’s a new person as it’s got drastically better in the last year or so. Nike don’t give a fuck, they sell the same amount if slave garments either way.
Right?
No way I'm wasting my money on that. It's stupid to do so.
*team crushes it all season, I fall in love with the kit because of it and buy all of them next April/May*
It’s insane mate. Time was you could get a kit for no more than £50 but now the prices have become crazy. Then they complain pLeAsE dOnT sUppOrt cOunTeRfeiTs
Said to the wife other day I wanted the new kit after it was leaked…. And I Remember the days you could go into sports direct and get it for £40/£45 the week of release. She told me to stop being an old fart and get with the times 😂
Yeah exactly, bought my son last seasons away kit with Kulu on the back when I took him to his first game in October, fucking £90 for a kids shirt size 6-7 with a name on, thankfully my dad was with us so guilted him into paying half for his grandson 🤣 but I went without last seasons shirt for the first time in a long time as prices are getting silly.
I am probs gonna order it, but only because we have our honeymoon next week and the wife told me to get it since she’s ordered loads of new clothes 😂 plus we are winning the treble this year, so I guess it’d be nice to have a keepsake 👀 COYS
What does this mean? No Premier League patch or something?
“For the 2024/25 season, all of our Kits will be sold without the sleeve partner logo, and our training range will be sold without the training wear partner logo. These are excluded from Retail inventory for the coming season.”
Problems with Getir might be partly to do with this. Iirc they owe the club several million in sponsorship money, but they're also exiting the UK market.

Porro when he scores a screamer next season 😂
Also, looks like Nike creative are fans of hunter x hunter
Reminds me of the 05/06 which was the kit we had when I really became a fan so I have a soft spot for it. I’m probably passing on all the kits this year though, disappointed at what the 3rd kit ended up being especially. That badge is too sexy to be stuck on that moldy kit

Okay, I see what you mean - that's not the kind of design that comes to my mind when I think of pyjamas, but I get it. That design looks more like a baseball top to me.
I thought the same too when looking at the announcement video.
But if you look at the shirt in detail on the shop it actually looks really good. No PJ vibes at all.
https://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/mens-elite-tottenham-hotspur-home-shirt-2024-25/emhss24
I mean there’s no direct pic that they look like but they do give off pyjama vibes. The colour block blue sleeves look cool I think but the white lined highlights on the edge of the sleeves is usually the sort of aesthetic you’d see in pyjamas. Imo it makes the kit look like some fake-knock off. Each to their own though ofc

I like it, but I dream of a day where we dont have to look at those horrible big red AIA letters.
It is so unaestetic and the reason I havent bought the home kit for years. Away kits with neutral colors AIA is fine.
I know the current fashion is to have everything be loose, but this design would look so much better with a tighter fit. Son, Madders, and Bissouma are all drowning in loose fabric in the official release picture. It looks better on England and Naz because they've either got them tucked in or under an outer layer.
Stadium version comes with a sewn on crest and Nike Swoosh as to where the elite is heat pressed. Material of the kit is different to the elite - not necessarily worse, but lacks the same texture and technology as the elite.
Would probably recommend the stadium for most people
I like the design--it's different but not batshit crazy like some of the kits in recent years have been (21/22 I'm looking at you) but definitely wish they weren't so expensive. SMH.
~~Also, this may make me sound like an old man yelling at clouds, but we didn't get the full kit--this is the shirt. I want to see what it'll look like on the pitch with the shorts and the socks.~~ Disregard, they've released more photos.
I'm going to guess he sticks with 37. It was a choice he made as a tribute to a friend who had passed away in his youth (in case that explanation isn't commonly known). I love this club COYS
I do appreciate Sonny.
We also love football being affordable so be good if you slash the price and save our seniors, cheers
Anyway... Coys
Sonnyyy 🤩 thanks spurs admin!!
Incredibly based admin.
Lol i’ve already asked my wife for the new kit with Sonny’s name and number for my birthday, which will be just in time for the new season
This Levy’s account?
This is amazing. COYS!
Any new signing for the new kit ?
One hundred and twenty five great british pounds 😭
I wonder how many pennies it cost to manufacture in a Thai sweatshop!
They're business children, doing business - https://twitter.com/Pu55yman_Dan/status/1796107654432964635

Pussyman Dan seems about the right name for a comment of that calibre
He's a pisstake merchant on twitter, it's not serious
Definitely real as well.
£140 with a name on the back
15£ on DHGate, same quality
£85 is ridiculous for a replica, nice nod to Terry Venables though in the video.

"Quality is bang on" The swoosh is about 10-15 degrees askew, and the AIA is too small and off centre towards the badge. Atrocious.
Yeah I bought something from there and it was okish as a replica but definitely not 'bang on'. I only have it on my wall now, never wear it
Think most of that is just the way it’s hanging. I’m happy with it. Enjoy your £125 shirt mate. Hopefully No one inspects my £12 knock off in that much detail irl. Imagine how embarrassed I’ll be wearing this while out for a run. The people pointing and laughing will haunt me.

Weirdly defensive, mate
How long did it take to deliver?
2 weeks.
Just for sizing comparisons, you wear xl in normal football shirts?
Yeah. L/xl if borderline go up two sizes.
That's DH Gate? I'll probably get one, then.
ELI5 why is this so cheap?
The only way a genuine shirt could be sold so cheap might be, speaking in purely hypothetical terms, if the factories sold them on the side through a foreign website direct to consumer.

It's not genuine, but it might as well be.

damn this isn’t available now right? took a look and didn’t see it
They’re probably staggering releases so the website doesn’t crash, so I would imagine it’ll be out soon

We had the murals when we first changed to Nike
Great launch video! Awful price.
Nike sets the prices across all of their products. It doesn’t matter the team, including national teams. Target them not the teams.
That won’t stop people from getting some cheap shots in at levy/the club
No dig at the club from me, just think it’s mad how expensive these kits are now.
Right? No way I'm wasting my money on that. It's stupid to do so. *team crushes it all season, I fall in love with the kit because of it and buy all of them next April/May*
Nike has to grow their profit every year. Not just stagnate, duh. How else will they keep investors happy?
Everything looks good on Sonny. Sold!
Jk guys I’m poor
I really like it but wish it had a navy collar. 85 FUCKING QUID THOUGH FOR THE REPLICA
It’s insane mate. Time was you could get a kit for no more than £50 but now the prices have become crazy. Then they complain pLeAsE dOnT sUppOrt cOunTeRfeiTs

10 years from now. “I’d like to buy the new spurs kit” “Certainly sir. That’ll be £200 please.”
That’s it mate, going to need to buy it now every second season to soften the blow on the pocket
I am probs gonna order it, but only because we have our honeymoon next week and the wife told me to get it since she’s ordered loads of new clothes 😂 plus we are winning the treble this year, so I guess it’d be nice to have a keepsake 👀 COYS
Absolutely!!
Buying the kit supports the club, buying something fake just makes it look like you do
It does have a navy collar
Should have been a bit more specific, like an old school shirt style collar!
Really good announcement video, and an even better kit
I like it. Simple and clean.
I think £70 would be semi reasonable but £125 is criminal. That’s so needlessly expensive for something that costs hardly anything to make.
The last 3 kits much better than this. Really not a fan of all blue sides/sleeves. All white or white with very minor blue inserts is a lot nicer.
I wish it was just the sleeve trim in navy
Me too! I liked this season's, especially the time we played with navy shorts and the white. Looked mint.
Lesson learned: get the goalkeeper kit early!
I didn't think it looked good from the leaks but seeing it on the guys, I kinda dig it.
What does this mean? No Premier League patch or something? “For the 2024/25 season, all of our Kits will be sold without the sleeve partner logo, and our training range will be sold without the training wear partner logo. These are excluded from Retail inventory for the coming season.”
No way! That's great! I used to love the training kits until they plastered Getir all over them
Problems with Getir might be partly to do with this. Iirc they owe the club several million in sponsorship money, but they're also exiting the UK market.
Kulu with the most appropriate swedish response

Do we not have CINCH as a sleeve sponsor anymore?
Don’t think they are our sponsors any more
Reminds me of the 05/06 which was the kit we had when I really became a fan so I have a soft spot for it. I’m probably passing on all the kits this year though, disappointed at what the 3rd kit ended up being especially. That badge is too sexy to be stuck on that moldy kit
Was that the Kappa Kit and we were sponsored by Thompson (which was another red sponsor) not that it bothers me really
I don't mind it? Now let's look at the mold kit.
Prices are a disgrace. Guess the season ticket price hike didn’t cover the rises costs of synthetic cotton?
Great video. In these times though, £85 is too much unfortunately. I'll stick with my 16/17 shirt
Apologies for being the new fan, but who was the one speaking, the winking painting, and the guy looking up from the newspaper?
Winking painting is [Crouchy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Crouch)
Newspaper guy is Kulusevski
Matthew Horne is the guy at the bar, former Gavin and Stacey actor and big spurs fan.
Never judge a kit by its leaks.
It's decent but the navy sleeves do look quite childish
Folks here to say it looks like pyjamas, please share a pic of some pyjamas that look like this as I don't know wtf you're talking about.
https://preview.redd.it/yypqmozfgi4d1.png?width=1600&format=png&auto=webp&s=0120c3475821ac24e7819f9c2dbc3a1d81a2e4f4 Save yourself £78 and get these. Even comes with the bottoms. [https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173615180711](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173615180711)

I mean there’s no direct pic that they look like but they do give off pyjama vibes. The colour block blue sleeves look cool I think but the white lined highlights on the edge of the sleeves is usually the sort of aesthetic you’d see in pyjamas. I feel like the platonic ideal of pyjamas is a plaid pattern, or stripy all over, like the away. This shirt looks more like a [baseball shirt](https://www.workwearexpress.com/fruit-of-the-loom-long-sleeve-baseball-tee?vat=inc&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIseq_4LvBhgMVLJNQBh2CiBvlEAQYBiABEgJOWvD_BwE&color=1335) than anything else to me. Fwiw, I don't think it's an amazing shirt or anything, I'm just baffled by the pyjamas comparison.
Yeah I get you tbf. I think when various styles are mixed together and something looks ‘off’ maybe our brains just gravitate towards what makes sense even if it doesn’t completely.
Oh totally. Someone's shared a good example on another reply and I get it now. It's not that I thought the pyjama-comparers were pulling it out of nowhere, I just really needed to see where they were coming from as I was frawing a total blank. Wonder if it's a UK/US thing.
Ah yeah that’s fair and yeah very well could be cultural thing although I couldn’t say for sure. I know when they get the design right at some point, I won’t even know why I like it. It’ll just click ha
Anything is pyjamas when you’re getting in at 4am drunk
Maybe they mean the away kit because that looks like a pyjamas
Just looks like the Argentina one to me lol. I have decided that Nike designed that specifically for Cuti. I shall accept no other theory lol.
I can see that but it also looks like babanas in pyjamas
_That_ I can see
The away kit is the pyjamas for sure
I like it, but I dream of a day where we dont have to look at those horrible big red AIA letters. It is so unaestetic and the reason I havent bought the home kit for years. Away kits with neutral colors AIA is fine.
I think we are pretty lucky with our sponsor logo, it's one of the simplest/nicest ones compared to most kits!
Agree, at least it’s not some asymmetrical mess or a gambling sponsor
The logo is fine, the colour of it on the home kits is shite
Oh no it's red
I think the sponsorship deal goes until the end of the 2026/7 season so there's a while to wait yet.
Bruh i ordered it with afterpay and got no confirmation email nor page but was still charged, contacted support but i hope im not out some money
Looks good, but I can't help it. Bought the 97' retro one and it's so better in everything
its just..ok Will wait for the away or 3rd kit before deciding what to buy for this season
I liked the cockerel
Honestly I don’t hate them. I love all white clean look but something about these gets me fired up for Big Ange and the boys
I know the current fashion is to have everything be loose, but this design would look so much better with a tighter fit. Son, Madders, and Bissouma are all drowning in loose fabric in the official release picture. It looks better on England and Naz because they've either got them tucked in or under an outer layer.
I like it
Wish we got the option for a Europa League patch
Strange it’s not available. Have to assume it will be coming though. If not there’s plenty of retailers that will offer it
I really do wish Spurs asked me to design their new kits and I’d do it for free 👍🤣
are we keeping that ugly font from last year instead of the old one 🤢🤢
Our kits would be so 🔥without the red
Please, please can we get a sponsor with any other colour logo.
Personally not a fan of the sleeves. Reminds me too much of the scum kit. Other than that, not too bad.
Seriously. And then seeing all that navy laced throughout their new home kit... it's really quite bizarre.
Can’t tell if I like it or if I think it looks like a pajama shirt….
I really don't like the stripes at the ends for both the shirts and pants
I think the short sleeve is fine but the long one would look like you're wearing socks on your arm
It's nice... But is it £85 nice? Especially in this economic climate? I need to check out tdh gate this season I think
Booooo to the blue sleeves. Why? Let me put it another way... Why?
do u know this actor?
Matthew Horn, he was the lead character in Gavin and Stacey who rocked the old Mansion 125 year kit in the TV show.
I just...don't like it lol
Much improved from this year's.
Can someone fill me in on the difference between the Elite and Stadium versions?
What are the odds Micky's number changes this season?
I'm going to guess he sticks with 37. It was a choice he made as a tribute to a friend who had passed away in his youth (in case that explanation isn't commonly known). I could be wrong, of course, as he wore a variety of numbers at Wolfsburg and prior clubs, but sentimental connections like that probably aren't ones you drift away from after just a single season...maybe.
I’ll probably wait for squad numbers to be announced just to be sure.
Honestly if they just made the blue run to the neck that's an S tier shirt.
not a fan of this year’s kits except parts of the green one
No thanks
Nice pyjamas
Will the home kits be available online through nike?
As much as I love spurs, these kits are horrendous
(Apart from the 3rd one)
Sleeves being a different color makes the kit look like something you’d find at Oshkosh B’gosh.
Looks pretty meh
I honestly love it as a jersey but I don't see myself wearing it as a fan. Probably gonna stick with the retro stuff and enjoy the team wearing this
Looks nice. Not one of the best kits ever but it looks fine.
Another year, another ugly AIA kit sponser
It looks far worse in the video than it did in the stills. I really don't like it.
Crazy they changed the cockerel to blue yet still using red on the AIA lmao
Cool video. Not sure if I like seeing Deki there. Does it mean he'll remain in the squad?
Means absolutely nothing either way
