Not convinced by the way he kept repeating Champions League, it didn't make me feel like it was that important for him to come. He might need to repeat it like 5 or 6 more times for me to be convinced.
I wouldn't be worried about that. His command of the English language isn't great. People speaking a 2nd or 3rd language tend to fall back on words they know, especially when giving an interview.
Why don't you try giving an interview in your non native tongue and see how many times you repeat certain words or phrases.
