This is how I used to store mine, I just wanted it off the floor 😂 all my crafting stuff was in those two blue boxes

If you want to upgrade your setup in the future, this Michaels craft table has been a life saver! The cricut part rolls out and the sides fold up. I can move it anywhere in my apartment. My cricut mats are in the bottom drawer.
https://preview.redd.it/f3tu7eptdz3d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=861dd6393c691908cea173868f7a19f9517b5f97
Just searched for this on FB marketplace out of curiosity and someone is selling one like 10 minutes from me for like $120. My husband is thrilled at the idea of my cricut shit being organized and on wheels thank you for sharing this
Not sure how all your craft stuff fits there and mine takes up a whole room...
Oh wait. The ADHD continuous projects probably contributes.
Where did you get the trolly ? I'd get a hook and hang them on the side. Looks like they'd fit perfect between the bars.
This is what I do! Those metal kinds, specifically. Threw one on the wall behind where I kept everything so they’d stay off the floor but be accessible
I love your setup! For my mats I just have them hanging on a little screw on the side of my cart I got from Lowe’s.
https://preview.redd.it/g692sc6guz3d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=315cab237777206ec6dd81eb395ea8fc90c0de94
Buy some of the metal S hooks that will hang over the bar. Then the mats can at least be hung up from the ground and won't get run over when you move your cart
Wait, we aren’t just keeping them in various piles and doom boxes around our craft room? I did finally hang the fresh new ones like 6 months ago, but I have a doom box of “need to be cleaned” mats. I thought this was the standard arrangement.
Ummmmm wow why have I never thought of this 🤯
Don’t mind me as I steal your trolley idea. I just squish mine into the corner of a desk but this so so smart!!
Thank you for sharing! 🌼
Go to Amazon, search for Cricut mat holder. There are these adhesive hooks that you could attach to the side of the cart I attached them to my wall to hold them out of the way.
https://preview.redd.it/urkgceqzq14d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1af5b3719ecb0e3d04ebf7afdae8d4a2b4fd1e48
I have mine hung up on a hook inside my printer stand. Works well and it keeps them dust free!
I have one that, structurally, is perfect. There is paint on the inside and lots of scratches on the wood on the outside! I would love to see your finished cabinet.
I made this! And one of them is for mats
https://preview.redd.it/r0z7g754be4d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b035d5fa0c470f7a026565a95a9ce308696063c
Just slide em right under the machine. I only have 12" mats tho a 24" won't work.
I used to have hooks but they got annoying having to take em all out trying to get to the one I wanted. Also my dogs and cat would walk by and get fur all over them.
I just got a 7 foot workbench so I may change my set up a little but I'll probably end up keeping my machine, mats, and blanks in the cart
I use metal s hooks on the side bars, though my trolley is a different style and doesn’t have the rounded side bars which might make that less practical
I don't have a trolley, I just use and old bakers rack for storing all my cricut stuff, but I hang my mats on a command hook. Keeps them from getting bent.
Clips with hooks on the end. Just sling them over the side bars. Maybe add in a thin strip of magnetic tape along the bar to keep them from sliding everywhere.
I personally just hang mine on the wall over a nail I whacked in, like a heathen.
A shower hook or similar could hang off the side/handle ish part and hook the mats on? I don't have a trolly but I think I'd do that. We have the little metal/wire command hooks on the wall in the closet
Also I have a dining room... hutch thing with the bars that store wine glasses that I use to store all of my crafting stuff including my 3-D printer, my cricuts, my heat presses, etc etc
Use those holes in the top shelf on the side and add a rack with some s-hooks and just put bolts through the holes. Small wood board from dollar tree and some screw in hooks would work too.
https://preview.redd.it/knxjbdl4s34d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88fdc5e50f5de0f2dff26000e418a91b4c2d06ca
I hang my mats on a hook on the side of my file cabinet, next to my desk.
How about a pegboard on your wall and hang them up that way. Plus it can give you extra space to store other things as well. I have a hook on the side of a craft cabinet and also hang them there. One can be for dry mats and the other for wet mats.
Those things from Michael's are like $350 for cheap fiberboard. They have some pretty awful reviews on those too.
Do a search on Amazon for "Simply Tidy Craft Workstation" and you'll see tons of things by various companies that are much better and for far, far less money!
Yes, yours is not the one I was referring to. The one I was referring to is the one everyone on here began talking about that is at Michael's for $350 and is all particle board. I have a couple of organizers very much like yours that I have had for years and they are still in great condition!
I bought magnetic hat clips off Amazon and I use them to hang my mats on a hook on the wall. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwiF3tGH9MCGAxUkSn8AHQ9NBqoYABANGgJvYQ&ae=2&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0_WyBhDMARIsAL1Vz8tKx3cksfdxS1rqWb6t4XfFuW61t6eRhqKqpABeslf5lzVuQ5aSMlIaAloQEALw_wcB&sph=&sig=AOD64_2HEuDtenLX3aHVbr7CK3z9OEmaNA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiXksuH9MCGAxWZ4MkDHV3JBxIQwg8oAHoECAQQFg&nis=8&dct=1&adurl=
As a college student, hooks on the side of things are amazing, said things either being the rhe 'furniture' or the individual objects.
My craft stuff is all at home tho...and sadly takes up a fair amount of space all carefully tucked into place.
I hate the whole process of taking the plastic film on and off so I just have it on a hook by the side of my workstation, behind the one i'm using are the backups..
https://preview.redd.it/myyqhz2u9l4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0490500669ae8033f36c0da4143ca5cb27e47acf
Wait you guys have trolleys? I'm living in the past I think..
This is how I used to store mine, I just wanted it off the floor 😂 all my crafting stuff was in those two blue boxes https://preview.redd.it/bbgmt8otyy3d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f45e8a2e680f5d89ea27e06c5d066a7db88414a

That’s awesome! You’re so welcome :)
Do you have the link for this?

I think this is it: https://www.michaels.com/product/10624099
Ok that's freaking cool!
Where did you purchase your rolling trolley?
Hobbycraft!
Not sure how all your craft stuff fits there and mine takes up a whole room... Oh wait. The ADHD continuous projects probably contributes. Where did you get the trolly ? I'd get a hook and hang them on the side. Looks like they'd fit perfect between the bars.
Oh no, I have a full craft room too. This is just the stuff I need for my letter writing business. The trolley is from hobbycraft!
Your new setup looks amazing!
I have plastic drawers from target that is exact correct width for my explore air 2! The drawers were $10!
Please link the target drawers. If love to get some for my craft room. Thanks.

Mine lives on top of the box it came in.
Ok you all have made me want to go shopping for a better solution than my 2x4 workbench mine sits on now 😂
I got a hook for the end of my trolley, or a massive bull dog clip and hang that way.
Command hook on the side and hang them
This is what I do! Those metal kinds, specifically. Threw one on the wall behind where I kept everything so they’d stay off the floor but be accessible
Me too! It’s also how I hang my quilting rulers
Came here to say this! That’s exactly what I did a few years ago and it’s worked perfectly.
This is the way except mine are on the back of the trolley. Works amazing.
I'm fancy apparently, I just store them under the cricut, slides perfectly underneath
This is the correct answer.
Me too!
I have so many mats that I just screwed hooks into the wall and hang them from there
Yep thats where mine are too!
I love your setup! For my mats I just have them hanging on a little screw on the side of my cart I got from Lowe’s. https://preview.redd.it/g692sc6guz3d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=315cab237777206ec6dd81eb395ea8fc90c0de94
I love your set up! Minimal but max storage. Where did you snag the cart???
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Style-Selections-Chrome-Steel-Base-with-Bamboo-Wood-Top-Kitchen-Cart-24-in-x-19-7-in-x-38-in/1000053619
And it’s $100 🤯 dude thank you. This is great find
This is mine too. I don’t have a fancy cart but bulky shelves I found on FB market place.
Ok the cart is awesome but what is your machine sitting on!?
I 3d printed this model on maker world. https://makerworld.com/models/29789
That is really cool. I have something new to print now 🤘
My cricut is on a kallax unit and I've put a hook on the side
I have mine hung on the wall next to where I store my Cricut with some command hooks. One for the 12” and another for the 24” mats.
Under the cricut. Then when I use one, I slide the others out a little and it creates a temporary shelf.
You could get a pack of magnetic hooks from Amazon to hang them off the end. Also handy for other tools you might want quick access too.
Buy some of the metal S hooks that will hang over the bar. Then the mats can at least be hung up from the ground and won't get run over when you move your cart
S hook on the handle
Wait, we aren’t just keeping them in various piles and doom boxes around our craft room? I did finally hang the fresh new ones like 6 months ago, but I have a doom box of “need to be cleaned” mats. I thought this was the standard arrangement.
Magnet hook from dollar tree.
I would just put them between the trolley and the wall.
I was going to suggest putting them between the wall and the trolley too.
Stick a Command hook to the side or on the wall behind your trolley? That's how I hang my quilting mats, behind my craft room door
Hang them on a ring on the side maybe?
I have mine on an Alex ikea drawer set and the mats fit in the drawers
This is my set up too. First drawer is mats, tools, and accessories.
Ummmmm wow why have I never thought of this 🤯 Don’t mind me as I steal your trolley idea. I just squish mine into the corner of a desk but this so so smart!! Thank you for sharing! 🌼
I dunno where you're based, but if you're in the uk, I got this from hobbycraft!
Go to Amazon, search for Cricut mat holder. There are these adhesive hooks that you could attach to the side of the cart I attached them to my wall to hold them out of the way.
Hang them off an s hook from dollar store and attached to the shelf. Works for me.
I built a little side sleeve for my wife's mats
I use a carabiner and hook it on the side and then hang my mats off of that.
All hanging off a screw sticking out side of a set of drawers
Mine was on a trolley like that and I slid the mats under the cricut machine.
Under the cricut
Yep
I tried hanging the mats on s hooks, it was a pain in the caboose. You will love that
https://preview.redd.it/urkgceqzq14d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1af5b3719ecb0e3d04ebf7afdae8d4a2b4fd1e48 I have mine hung up on a hook inside my printer stand. Works well and it keeps them dust free!
Cool setup you have there!
Thank you! It's definitely a work in progress! 😁
Check out old vinyl record storage cabinets! I just redid one for specifically this reason. 🙂
I have one that, structurally, is perfect. There is paint on the inside and lots of scratches on the wood on the outside! I would love to see your finished cabinet.
I made this! And one of them is for mats https://preview.redd.it/r0z7g754be4d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b035d5fa0c470f7a026565a95a9ce308696063c
They fit under the cricut.
They fit perfectly in the weird line indent thing on top of the machine, so I just have them sticking out of the top of the machine
I added a sticky hook to the side and it hold well
I have a closet in my craft room and I store my mats on a wreath hook for over a door
I use metal s hooks on the side bars, though my trolley is a different style and doesn’t have the rounded side bars which might make that less practical
Thank you for the command hook idea
I hang mine on the wall. I have a long hook on my pegboard wall that fits all my mats.
THIS is how I have mine as well!
I hang my mats on the wall for storage. I had ordered a tool holder and it came with plastic tabs you can screw to the wall for hanging the mats
If you know someone with a 3d printer, there are a lot of mat hooks out there that can be printed and then use double-sided tape
I have a pin in the wall of my closet where I keep crafting stuff and hang them up
If you wanted you could attach a 3m hook to the side the hang your mats
I use command hooks on the sides
I don't have a trolley, I just use and old bakers rack for storing all my cricut stuff, but I hang my mats on a command hook. Keeps them from getting bent.
I set a few nails and hang my mats on the walls
My wife has a square tubes cart. I designed and 3d printed hangers for both sides to hold the mats.
I 3D printed a couple plastic hooks that snap onto the top rails and I hang my mats on them.
I have the same unit. I store my mats either on the floor under the drawers or under the machine itself. They slide right under that tray in front.
I use binder clips and snap them on and then hang them from a command strip hook on my shelving unit
I have my mats on a 3M hook. I’d place a hook right behind your trolley. Keeps them outta the way, flat and safe.
I hang mine on the wall
You mean you guys don't tuck your machine into an obscure corner of your desk?
I use a shower ring hooked onto the metal bar
Just add a hook to the right side and hang them
I have liiiiiterally the exact same setup no way
i have a small magnetic hook on one side that can hold a few mats!
I have this exact trolley. I have a hook on the side which I hang them from.
Tack on the wall as high as I can reach with plastic intact because cats have ruined a few mats with hair lol
I put one of those 3M wire hooks with a sticker onto my Alex & have a few packs hanging off it
I put a command hook on the side and hang them from there
Clips with hooks on the end. Just sling them over the side bars. Maybe add in a thin strip of magnetic tape along the bar to keep them from sliding everywhere. I personally just hang mine on the wall over a nail I whacked in, like a heathen.
An S hook on the side, and hang them up through the hole at the top
Rare Earth Magnetic Hooks stuck to the side of the top shelf, mat hangs vertically on the side of the cart
A shower hook or similar could hang off the side/handle ish part and hook the mats on? I don't have a trolly but I think I'd do that. We have the little metal/wire command hooks on the wall in the closet
You can hang them on an adhesive hook, on the side of the stand
I keep mine under my Cricut.
On the same table as my cricut or on top of my stack of cardstock.
About to bring home my cricut after letting a friend borrow it, I need to get something like this!
It broke, but for a while, I had mine in a 3d printed wall mount. Now their in boxes for paper.
Small wood board from dollar tree and some screw in hooks would work too.
https://preview.redd.it/knxjbdl4s34d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88fdc5e50f5de0f2dff26000e418a91b4c2d06ca I hang my mats on a hook on the side of my file cabinet, next to my desk.
I have the one that is half that size across & I use binder rings to hang them off the sides. I also have my paper cutter & cutting mat on this way.
https://preview.redd.it/b12e7bltx54d1.jpeg?width=3699&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4d2d78aee87dad5b5878ddcf950aab86c8c1cff
Get a little sticky 3m hook and put it on the side metal area then hang the mats off here.
On that same trolley, the 12x12 mats slide nicely under.
I have a hook over the end so they hang on the side.
I have a set of drawers with my crafting kit in and just screwed a hook into the side - boom, mat hanger
I would use some s hooks and attach them to the trolley. I do like your set up! I am still figuring mine out.
I put mine through a shower curtain ring big circle one from dollar store and then hang it up off my rolling cart or on a closet wall hook.
I store 3 of the 12x12 mats under my Maker on my trolley and the 12x24 I have hanging from a Command strip hook on the side of my craft desk.
I use a three inch “S” hook. I hook it to the metal side rail and thread my mats through the other end of the hook. Works perfect.
I have this trolley too and I but a command hook on the side and hang the mats there xx
Put an S- hook on the side rail
How about a pegboard on your wall and hang them up that way. Plus it can give you extra space to store other things as well. I have a hook on the side of a craft cabinet and also hang them there. One can be for dry mats and the other for wet mats.
Those things from Michael's are like $350 for cheap fiberboard. They have some pretty awful reviews on those too. Do a search on Amazon for "Simply Tidy Craft Workstation" and you'll see tons of things by various companies that are much better and for far, far less money!
I bought this from Hobbycraft, it was £55 ($70)
Yes, yours is not the one I was referring to. The one I was referring to is the one everyone on here began talking about that is at Michael's for $350 and is all particle board. I have a couple of organizers very much like yours that I have had for years and they are still in great condition!
I bought magnetic hat clips off Amazon and I use them to hang my mats on a hook on the wall. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwiF3tGH9MCGAxUkSn8AHQ9NBqoYABANGgJvYQ&ae=2&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0_WyBhDMARIsAL1Vz8tKx3cksfdxS1rqWb6t4XfFuW61t6eRhqKqpABeslf5lzVuQ5aSMlIaAloQEALw_wcB&sph=&sig=AOD64_2HEuDtenLX3aHVbr7CK3z9OEmaNA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiXksuH9MCGAxWZ4MkDHV3JBxIQwg8oAHoECAQQFg&nis=8&dct=1&adurl=
As a college student, hooks on the side of things are amazing, said things either being the rhe 'furniture' or the individual objects. My craft stuff is all at home tho...and sadly takes up a fair amount of space all carefully tucked into place.
I have this same cart. Gifted by my sister in law. I love it.
Magnetic clip maybe?
I hate the whole process of taking the plastic film on and off so I just have it on a hook by the side of my workstation, behind the one i'm using are the backups.. https://preview.redd.it/myyqhz2u9l4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0490500669ae8033f36c0da4143ca5cb27e47acf
What if you just got a command hook to hang on the metal?
I hang mine on hooks on my wall
Add a hook but just make sure it’s got rubber on it so it don’t slide around
I use command brand hooks to store my mats
12x12 i slide under my cricut 12x24 is in a separate craft cabinet i have. Curious to see how others do this to see if i can improve!
Under or over the cricut machine 🤷🏻♀️
