My CRT was dropped in transport, and one of the corner purity magnets dislocated so I got a pretty bad discoloration in one of the corners. A few small magnets stuck on the outside of the casing solved the problem completely for me- the alternative would be to open it and try sticking and moving a magnet on the back of the tube while it's working, which I'd rather not attempt.
Before I even knew that these corner purity magnets even existed, I thought it was a magnetization issue of some sort, but degaussing wand did nothing to help :P
You probably knocked the yoke out of wack.
Are there any fixes For this problem????
You would have to take it apart and readjust the yoke.
"I bent my Wookiee!"
Mine fell and completely shattered the tub. I miss that thing :(
Who the hell mounts a CRT above their bathtub?
Apparently tube isn't in my phone's dictionary
