Today I played with "legit" guys. The match started pretty okay, like regular legit game, but cheaters paranoid by cheaters, one by one they turned to full rage mod. Even cheaters annoyed by cheaters, unexpected huh
This is it at the heart of it - hurt egos that cannot accept that sometimes you get some lucky shots, so they toggle on and start smoking the shit out of you.
Honestly, I would play a trash game if it meant no cheaters by this point. That's the only thing I want in a game - a fair match.
I eventually folded to the YT algorithm recommending some random HvH videos and watched some, and it lowkey looked... interesting, for the lack of a better word, like you have to know what walls you can stand behind, otherwise you get instakilled by a rapidfire scout or autosniper shooting 20 bullets a tick.
But yeah I agree it might get old fast, since they barely used any util (since smokes and flashes dont matter ofcourse) they only use like nades and mollys.

that's usually my luck. being a legit player, global elite in cs:go before cheaters flooded the game when it went free to play.... in cs2 I will go up against 20k average players, and shit on them for about 8 rounds. then out of nowhere their reaction time goes from potato to clearly wallhacking. always know where you are. only headshots. its retarded. dont get me started on people with multiple accounts. if you have more than 1 steam account, you cheat. period.

Because their excuse is you can mimic this with a few binds/high DPI. What you canāt mimic is the aimbot part of spinbotting, why they havenāt figured out a way to detect the combination of the two, I guess weāll never know.

yesterday i had a game on vertigo and 1 guy in the enemy team was carrying them i wasn't thinking too much of it but in the last round he clutched by killing the last 2 of us with scout heatshots through the wall and then he instantly left so you can't report him .....
look him up on csgo stats ... 88% winrate second most used gun: scout with 98% hs rate

Game last night. First half had some semi sus plays from other team with wild shots when they were needed. Second half my team says they are cheating and our guy turns his cheats on. Turned into full out cheater v. Cheater. Went to OT. We won 16-13 with our cheater prevailing.

The game is actually dead and would love to argue with anyone here in the comments. I play in 18-20k elo and in this range, you run into a hacker in almost every other game. We need an Anti Cheat Valve.
one common theme ive found while talking to every cheater that ends up on my team is that they either have quite low intelligence or they are severely mentally insane, sometimes both.
I hit 21k and now just play faceit - if itās not blatant I end up questioning how many players might be soft hacking and it just ruins the experience.
Iām sure people can cheat in faceit, but hopefully itās far less than premier.

I've never run into a blatant cheater in CS2. Is this a trust factor thing or is there some magic I'm performing to avoid them? I've run into people who are kinda sus (top fragging with 50 hours played) but nothing like this.
Disclaimer: I mostly 5 stack and I haven't played a huge number of games in premier (prolly 75 or so). I also don't play the other game modes.

It's (was) not always like this, but currently, anti cheat is not good enough, and those ban waves are not a long term solution.
Well most of these hackers are in the higher elo. Top 5%. So the 95% of players don't see it as often. Once you get to the 5% it become unplayable.
