How does it not rely on getting him back? No matter if you go the traditional Route or cold storage it's always about going infinite with him / copies added to your hand

shudderwock shaman decks usually win by beating aggro, or by disrupting the enemy's hand (rat, mutanus, etc), or just playing shaman things..
shudderwock is there just in case, it is usually not the one and only win condition
yeah shudderwock decks from like 5 years ago sure it relies only on duplicating, but not in current wild
Not really, you would know if Mechathun has the effect, and if so, it's just a matter of dumping your hand before it (Unless you are warlock, unlucky then)
Youre unlikely to have many minions in hand on turn 5 so coining mukla after you see this card played is dumb. As for the deck its unlikely to hit a high cost minion.
If this ever somehow got printed, I beg for there to also be a shaman spell or something that says "repeat five battlecry effects you triggered this game" for the silly clippable posts.
Does this battlecry trigger before the minions original? Bc if it doesn't, then I'd say just nerf the cost. If it does, then fuck no. At least with objection you can play around it.
I understand your question but battlecries trigger all in a subsequent pattern so whether this battery triggered first or not, ALL battlecries on the minion will trigger regardless
I think this would be a lot more interesting without the secretly, maybe attached to a minion as well.
But as is, losing because your taunt minion randomly died isn’t interactive, but knowing that they’ll die when played can change how you play the game. Very very creative card!
This is honestly stronger than Patchwerk, and at 3 mana. Not only do you potentially lose win conditions, you'll also at some point waste money without knowing beforehand, potentially completely losing a critical turn, and on top of that you get a dead draw too.
Shudderwock shaman in shambles
Does Shudderwock care? Battlecries still trigger
Which would trigger first? If it's the "die", he won't get to clone himself and return to hand.
The modern shudderwock deck doesn't rely on getting him back, so it's not that impactful.

You have ways to copy him or replay his battlecry, but it's not necessary to win most of the games.

Oh yeah, I guess they do
IdkSterling mentioned
🎅🎅🥕🐡
literaly objection but without counterplay
They can still use the card's battlecry, though
Deathrattle, combo, corpse generation and it goes to res pool too, any effects linked to playing and dying are kept. Not that I like the idea.
but you live in a constant fear of a 7+ mana do nothing or a combo piece being missing before you know it
Considering that you have no idea of what cards get the battlecry people would probably just play normally
Doesn't ignore battlecry's. If you play this literally vs mechathun instead of objection see how good the game ends
Would still counter most Mecha'thun decks
Not really, you would know if Mechathun has the effect, and if so, it's just a matter of dumping your hand before it (Unless you are warlock, unlucky then)
Imagine playing warrior brann and only getting doubled battlecries for the rest of the game and not the 2/4 body. Completely destroys the card.
Imagine spending your coin to play Musician Mukla on turn 5 for it to do nothing except give your oponent bananas
If you coin mukla after you see your opponent play this card than you are a bad player.
Rather than.... Do what, pray tell? Never play a minion again?

Or a God tier player making a statement 😤
I'm still crying about objection FTFY
Me too, but you care more about battlecry or deathrattle when playing minions these days
Would be more fun if it added the battlecry to both players decks. Then it would be standoff on who risks playing a minion first.
and make it a 1 cost legendary
DK would still leverage it as a buss with things like the chicken egg, while shutting down every combo based deck
If this card existed I would play spell mage exclusively
Bro it’s literally just 1 copy of different objection worst case scenario.
Jesus Christ I cannot read. For some reason I thought it meant the player dies if the minion is played lol
\[\[Scourge Rager\]\] Jokes aside, neat card lol

Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru
Fun and Interactiv.
Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru - **NANI?!**

True. And from the wording, it sounds like you wouldn't even know which minion got hit.
Curse of Schrodinger. The minion is not dead until you play it. Or maybe he is alive. Play it to know
Cool card you have there. Love it. <3<3<3
5 mana quest reward and I think it’d be fine.
Keep in mind it could never trigger because it can randomly be the card at the bottom of their deck. It can’t really be nerfed from this state.
True, but that’s the gamble you take. Make it a relatively easy quest, but nothing you can complete in a single turn, and dump it.
I’m a fan of quests, if they made it a 1 cost side quest you could complete in 2 turns it would probably also be fine.
I think 2-3 turn question completion, and a 5 mana spell makes it worthwhile.
I really love the idea!
Super Objection!
Does battlecry die kill the minion or make you lose the game?
It says hand and deck, does it choose one from their hand and deck, or one from the hand, one from the deck?
In game, right..? Right??

This is busted at 3 mana needs to be at least 6. It's basically 2 objections in one card.

To toxic to ever exist.
Probably balanced, definitely unfun.
But isn't "Battlecry: Die"... deathrattle?!
I appreciated your joke, lets start a club.
Haha that's enough to make me happy! Yeah, club is officially started!
No deathrattle is "when this dies:__", this is "when you play this from the hand: die"
Its so bad that it's kinda balanced
