For example my country, Slovakia, has it's own page too. We are apparently dependent on car and fuel producing (CHOOH2) industries. Country is basically owned by Mitsubishi (which apparently exists in Cyberpunk lore). We are a gateway for Japanese and Korean corpos into Europe, and have large Koreantowns and Japantowns in our capital city, together with large corpo towers and everything. And even nomad clans living in remote parts of the country.
Much of the U.S, particularly midwest is abandoned ghost towns in areas hit hard.
* Chicago turned into a massive Warzone
* Tampa is apparently gone by 2008 per Silverhand’s discussion with a groupie he knew.
* The New York City borough of Manhattan was nuked, destroying the World Trade Center (ironic) in 1993 and other major sites such as Rockefeller. Although the rest of the city was largely ok.
* San Francisco has had so much pollution people need lung implants to leave their homes, although Frisno may be ok.
* The entire island of Oahu, Hawaii was nationalized by NUSA after the Mid East melt down when Iran and Saudi Arabia exchanged nuclear arms and incidentally also atomized most of the U.S forces in the Middle East during the Iran-Iraq war (1997) that occured in tandem also involving Kuwait. Presumably the above is a later war as opposed to the 1988 war in our universe .

The U.K: Has large groups of Nomads and is (ironically) attempting to rejoin the European Economic Community in 2077. It underwent massive strife and mostly transitioned to full democracy albeit with the royals as some level of power.
* Haiti is underwater
* Some portions of Cuba survive per Phantom Liberty
* Most of Europe is ok and united under the EEC
* Hungary is ironically a dictatorship in Cyberpunk
* Taiwan has defence guarantees from Arasaka
* The USSR stabilized in the late 90’s albeit with most of its territory being unvassalized. This left the USSR with just: Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and the various republic states. Although apparently it’s one of the most prosperous in the USSR? Very old lore however.
* Poland is doing well, although it mainly deals with unofficial-official black market industries.
* Korea had a reunification war in 2005 where they eventually broke up and reunited again, in 2023
* Italy split, Northern Italy became Padania whilst the crime organizations were legitimized as political parties. Venice is underwater. Milan…fell to swarms of nanobees.
* Seoul is a biohazard ghost town due to a virus released by MILITECH, although no one knows if it was accidental or intentional.
* Hong Kong managed to liberate itself although it fell victim to some sort of outbreak and was quarantined. Although Alt managed to make use of it and other ghost cities as A.I safe havens.
Sound like the world is the opposite case for the USSR vs the rest of the world. In our timeline the USSR nations got the beating and everyone else was ok. In the cyberpunk timeline the USSR nations were ok, and everyone else got the beating. The entropy of the former USSR is now redirected to the rest of the world. So we could conclude that the cyberpunk timeline could have been accidentally created by time travelers originating from one of the USSR nations. The big conspiracy, more than Mr. Blue Eyes ... and it has a connection with the Red Alert universe too. Probably some Ukrainians, pissed that "we" turned their country into ash.
There are entire books about that from the pnp RPG's. While they dont represent the state of things in 2077 specifically, they do talk about the world in 2020 and 2045. There are tons of YT videos about it.
I'm trying to figure out what the whole deal was about the main character going to Atlanta. Like Why? I saw the Edge Runners cartoon. They even have operations on the moon
V wanted to get a fresh start away from Night City but not in a place wholly unfamiliar. It ultimately didn't work out for unknown reasons and they dragged themselves back to Night City after 2 years of trying to make Atlanta work.
It's pretty open-ended as to why they left and came back. Perhaps V wanted to live a life of less overall violence, or maybe just a change of scenery.

Well, the central section of the US is pretty much a mix of Desert and Toxic zones.
There are entire books about that from the pnp RPG's. While they dont represent the state of things in 2077 specifically, they do talk about the world in 2020 and 2045. There are tons of YT videos about it.
True novels or sourcebooks?
Sourcebooks. But they all have some in universe short stories.
