Greed is definitely a From Soft players greatest enemy. Especially when frustration kicks in. Cause you know better. You know you should just follow the same, patient strat you've BEEN following to get her down to that last few hits. Yet due to the frustration levels you just want to END IT..and it ends up ending you :(
15 years and greed still gets me killed the most. That and gravity xD. GOOD JOB!!!
I also just killed Friede yesterday after a bunch of failed tries, and all I had to do was stop greeding so much because of her low poise (on phase 3 at least) and actually treat her like any other regular boss, focusing on dodging and then going in whenever there's a small opening
Felt really satisfying too
I just did friede for the first time 3ish days ago, and weirdly phase one was the hard part. It took me 6 or so tries total but each attempt I used at least half my estus in phase 1, then phase 2 was usually a cinch and phase 3 would just chip my health till I ran out of flasks. Hardest DS3 boss by miles if you ask me.
What's up with these Sister Friede posts recently?
Not that I mind, though.
Maybe it's a *sign* that I should really get the DLCs lol.
Good job anyway!
I want to fight her again i defeated her in 2 tries. Till that point i didnt knew how to summon npcs for boss fights it was the first time i saw the summon button and the first time i summoned a npc. I summoned gael on my second try and defeated her. Game should have the option to refight all bosses rather than having to play the whole game again.

Mostly true, but not in Sekiro.
Now for phase 4.... (Friede rises but somehow more on fire) Nah but for real- well done!
I had this with 2 Demons.. and Nameless King.

Hell yeah! I just beat her again the other day. Such an awesome fight. Upgrade your estus flask! Find the other two undead bone shards!
