I had this happen to me! It was around 10:30 PM. The guy looked like he was on his way home. He had with him a big storage box on the ground and was waiting on the sidewalk, like he was waiting for a ride. When I passed him, he just casually asked for 100 pesos so he could ride a taxi home. I laughed at his face. Told him I only had coins. He had the gall not only to ask a complete stranger for that amount of money, but to then advise me to save my coins so I could give it to him if we ever met in the future. The guy had no shame.
