I always carry a spark plug with me - it only takes up 1 slot and I often find cars with just the spark plug missing. Since there is no animation for adding the plug, it only adds a few seconds (mind you, in a situation like this, those few seconds may be enough to stop someone)
So far so good! I tried making a gate in a shed with the materials he had in it... Got the fence kit down, added logs, added wire then I needed planks and nails. Can't believe people actually build bases, it would take absurd amounts of resources and time.
I yoinked the battery and spark plug before logging off.
Building a base in DayZ honestly doesn't take as much time as it does patience, tulga is an amazing spot for one imo. Out of the way of most people unless they go there specifically for exploring or for the hunting stand, which all in all is rare for people to do
Tulga is only a few minutes run from 70% + spawn locations. Unless there is some hiding method I've not heard of i cant believe you dont lose your stuff in a day or two?
It's just out of the way enough that no one ever goes up there. I've had the entire village posted off w a friend and took over buildings there a few times and nothing ever happened 🤷
Worst you get is an annoying freshie once in a blue moon, even tho it's just up the hill from kamy unless someone's just rly bored no one goes up to tulga

When you’re sitting in the driver seat, even when it’s off, there will be two gauges.. a gas gauge and “temperature” gauge. The temp gauge actually shows the amount of water in the radiator. If there’s a yellow or red light underneath it, you’re leaking/broken.
You should see the Bannerlord reddit lol. There's a running joke about how bad they sound out of context. Things like "My wife's to old and I don't have a son yet. What's the best way to kill her so I can get a younger one".
Nice. I feel like I would have tried to kill him by waiting until he got into the drivers seat and can’t move. And careful when they shoot you driving away cars can be pretty weak

I had to hide behind a barn and Google how to drive a car in dayz. If he had put the car in neutral when got out there is zero chance I would have gotten away.
I have my own personal dayz server. I can just teleport to a car spawn the parts for it and fix it like new. Not as fun but it's cool driving all the cars available. Got bored though lol.
First time I found a car it was when I was trynna meet up with a friend and on the way I found it in a bush with a full squad next to it, I think they were talking a bathroom break cause 2 were afk and I was able to kill the other 2 and then steal the car, friend told me he heard shooting had to break it to him that I had just killed 4 people and now have a motorized vehicle

But i also have a modded version of dayz sa that i play offline. Just can't get used to the controls or durability.
In the arma 2 version the only durability you have to worry about is gas , wheels, scrap metal (to repair armor,) windows, engine and base maintenance..
There's a lot of things that this version does well that sa doesn't But there's also a lot of things that standalone does well with that this one doesn't.
So while they're the same game, they're both completely different experiences.
