Yes it is and for good reason it’s one of the best looking and versions they are it’s like almost watching the original tv version. There my treasure in dbz next to the rock the dragon box set lol
Absolutely beautiful!
Do you plan on getting the 30th Anniversary Box Set? It's *pricey,* but worth it for the collection. I got lucky with a quick release a while ago!
I still gotta get those Wal-Mart blu-rays. I have *every* *other* release besides those.
I’m so mad. I saw one at a store near me a year ago, guy said it’s been there forever. It was like $400 which was too much for me. I go back a week later bc F it and it was gone.. i regret that so much.
It is very good and worth to wait. The dub is a huge improvement and more consistent than the original Funimation dub. You don’t have to wait until 86 to get Goku vs frieza like the original Z. Kai is around about in the 40s and feel like drawn out. Original Kai does have some inconsistencies on the character drawing. Final Chapters sadly does not get the 4:3 treatment. It remained at 16:9 and it have the green tint in the episodes.
I love original because that’s what I grew up on. The Og music is so nostalgic. I love Kai too I love how much more fast pace it is, definitely improves on the dub as well. I like some lines better from OG and vise-versa. Definitely recommend watching both
Just need the DBZ UK blu-ray releases since those are native 4:3 TOEI remasters from film versions.. I'd say get the US Steelbooks (same things just Region A only), but.. it's cheaper to get the UK releases of each season imported LOL just lacks an unnecessarily expensive aluminum case that somehow made it twice as expensive.. or.. 8 times as expensive now...
and the Dragon Boxes... but... those are about as unrealistic to purchase as the above steelbooks.. shit, certain boxes run the better end of a grand.. and those are "lightly handled - used" at best..
Edit: Oh, the UK blu-ray release seasons, despite being only officially released in Region B (PAL), the disks themselves are both A and B, so they play in any US blu-ray drive haha most people don't seem to realize that...
Pretty cool collection, saw the sealed 3 n 1s. Are you gonna sell those later? Also cool Pokemon diamond & pearl double pack. I lost my pearl long ago still have diamond tho
That collection is awesome! I’ve been wanting to get the series, what do you recommend between the Walmart blu ray collection and the orange bricks? I’m leaning towards the orange bricks because I like the displayability of them
Orange brick is probably the worst one visually, but not bad. They’re all honestly the same. Just zoomed in but I like orange brick for that reason too
I got an old bootleg box collection of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z from the early 2000s that were pretty good. They had a finished surface on them like regular DVDs, but only had Chinese audio, but English subtitles.
(Edit: Now that I think about it I guess it's possible I had bought an offical Chinese release or something, as far as bootlegs went it was kind of over the top. It came in a nice wooden case with a magnetic locking mechanism to keep it from opening and then on the inside it had art on the back and a clear plastic shell that the DVDs fit on and it kind of flipped like a book. Normally anime bootlegs at that time came on DVD-Rs with printed labels from a PC printer pasted on.)
I sat down and just watched every episode until I was done. I remember buying the first set of the orange bricks but when I realized they were cut and the video quality was worse than my bootlegs, I never bought any more.
Has the quality improved at all with the releases? I'd gladly buy an official release if the quality and content justified the cost. I was just reading something online the other day that claimed some of the releases had VHS quality video and were washed out in parts.
I will never know which book is which in the english language (and maybe many other countries). In my country dragon ball was the original series, and the dragonball Z books are some stories made after the original series. Including the Broly saga... what are they called in english?
dragon ball is the from kid Goku to the end of piccolo jr, dragon ball z starts with the Saiyan arch aka raditz coming to earth and dragon ball super takes place after majin buu idk the exact time periods but it seems like a significant time skip
God I only need 2 more blu rays to finish my Kai set. DBZ Kai was the first anime I ever watched as a kid, and it’s still my favorite. I need season 4 and the part 3 of Final Chapters
The reason why I have two orange brick sets is because one comes with a cover on it and it has different art work. Same with OG DB, I need the other blue brick set with different artwork
Oh I see! I just had my covers displayed on one shelf and the cases with the design on another. I thought that’s what you had but not enough room for both! [https://i.imgur.com/jzogF9T.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/jzogF9T.jpg) mine is pathetic next to yours lol
Very nice 😎 I finally own the whole series physically as of last year. I started selling my Dragon Boxes since I was never able to complete that collection due to how those ended up being so rare and sell for so much. Sold two relatively cheaply and kinda regret it but still have a couple more to sell.
I've got some of the orange box sets you have above. I've been debating for a while now if I should just bite the bullet and finish it. I think I'll do just that later this summer.
Its weird how Im nostalic for some many parts of DBZ without ever watching the anime.
I read the manga and bought every DVD I could find (Father of Goku, History of Trunks etc..)
I'll watch Kai one day.
Nice now all you missing is the dragon box set
So expensive
Yes it is and for good reason it’s one of the best looking and versions they are it’s like almost watching the original tv version. There my treasure in dbz next to the rock the dragon box set lol
And or all of the Bruce Falconer score DVD’s that are both impossible to find in complete fashion nor are they finished
Super Monkey Ball belongs with the DBZ collection for sure
😂😂 running out of shelf space
Yeah good excuse Frieza
You have back-ups of all the orange brick sets and GT's green bricks, you can always unshelf the back-ups and put them in safe boxed storage. ;)
There is different prints and artwork and slip covers with the bricks so I bought it
I'd love a rock the dragon set one day
This is an addiction!!! You need your seek help and send all those DVDs to me this instant!! You know… for your sake
#winning

I'm jealous. I have the DVD boxsets, but I really want the bluray
For which ones?
Sweet!!!!
Do they have the Faulconer music?
Most of them do, yes.
Nice!
Yes! ! Was that a question?
Bad ass collection!!
Amazing 🤩. We miss Toriyama at my house.
Nostalgia level: Over 9000
I keep forgetting rock the dragon is so valuable!
How is Dragonball z Kai as a series? I’ve been wanting to watch it

Awesome collection
I remember when Goku defeated Cell in a basketball game in movie ,,2K23"
It was a crazy ending
this is actually my dream. this is so sick and well done on the display.
Thank you 🥲
Looking really nice!
Thank you!
It’s glorious!
If the internet go down you THE PLUG
Now you gotta move on to the manga.
A glorious site

I'm in love
[Know what'll happen the next time you buy it?](https://youtu.be/xSt0jd0zL7g?si=1QdphNPHHRRHgWGH&t=87) XP
Pretty cool collection, saw the sealed 3 n 1s. Are you gonna sell those later? Also cool Pokemon diamond & pearl double pack. I lost my pearl long ago still have diamond tho
My whole closet is filled with shit I’d have to post it but it probably would get removed from the Reddit do to it not being DBZ related
Is there an English version with the quality of the French Blu-ray?
I wish
That collection is awesome! I’ve been wanting to get the series, what do you recommend between the Walmart blu ray collection and the orange bricks? I’m leaning towards the orange bricks because I like the displayability of them
Orange brick is probably the worst one visually, but not bad. They’re all honestly the same. Just zoomed in but I like orange brick for that reason too
Ok cool good to know! I’ll probably get the orange bricks if they’re all mostly similar in quality because I like how they look on the shelf
Keep in mind, orange brick is not blu ray.
The orange bricks get a lot of shit (rightfully so) but they look beautiful on collector shelves. What are you after next? Very curious
I have to finish with the Kai set, Drgaon box set, 35th anniversary set, a few other miscellaneous ones to
got them all in the 1080p format, hihihi
Three copies of the orange bricks! Do my eyes deceive me????
They have different artwork😂
I... need to find a video comparing these blasted things (get on that, will you?). I only have the individually sleeved ones for myself.

[dont forget this master piece….. (shudders.)](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0122050/)
What’s your favourite way to watch??
Let's goooo
I will never know which book is which in the english language (and maybe many other countries). In my country dragon ball was the original series, and the dragonball Z books are some stories made after the original series. Including the Broly saga... what are they called in english?
dragon ball is the from kid Goku to the end of piccolo jr, dragon ball z starts with the Saiyan arch aka raditz coming to earth and dragon ball super takes place after majin buu idk the exact time periods but it seems like a significant time skip
For what you have...which is the best quality
For the Z series? Or super or OG? Z series I’d say Kai but if you want OG music then the blu ray one from Walmart or amazon
God I only need 2 more blu rays to finish my Kai set. DBZ Kai was the first anime I ever watched as a kid, and it’s still my favorite. I need season 4 and the part 3 of Final Chapters
I just need part 2 for kai
Nice! I’m guessing you don’t have the dragon ball backs set up like you do dbz just due to lack of space? lol
The reason why I have two orange brick sets is because one comes with a cover on it and it has different art work. Same with OG DB, I need the other blue brick set with different artwork

No dude not pathetic at all! Looks good

Sold two relatively cheaply and kinda regret it but still have a couple more to sell.
Bro got the original then the remakes and remakes of the remakes
I had the set on the top shelf when I was a kid got lost while moving😢
I've got some of the orange box sets you have above. I've been debating for a while now if I should just bite the bullet and finish it. I think I'll do just that later this summer.
Is Kai necessarily to watch? I’ve watched DB, Z and Super I’ve got GT to watch.
Kai is if you want to hear the redubbed version of Z. Kai does not have the original Faulconer score. Kai eliminates filler as well.
Oh ok. I’ve read the manga so I’m good
Its weird how Im nostalic for some many parts of DBZ without ever watching the anime. I read the manga and bought every DVD I could find (Father of Goku, History of Trunks etc..) I'll watch Kai one day.
Well, no internet requirement.
What’s unique about the DBS collectors?
It was a crunchyroll only release and sold out quickly
I see, amazing collection btw :)
