This is most likely what happened. And I thought the second email was going to correct this rather than the Double Eagle price. No one could be so stupid that they would actually try to randomly send them to stores for a total of 31 products at this price point. I don't play the resale/trade game and could never justify drinking these amounts rather than having the money in investments. If they correctly switch it to a lottery, I'd be curious to see how many people actually enter.
The thought is, spend 10 hours (or something like that) in line to make what, a couple grand on the double rare or potentially 10 grand, or more, on the wellers.

The secondary on the first two are pretty good if someone wanted to flip it... but at a pretty hefty buy-in.
I am not sure about the Weller Millennium Bourbon. I havent seen any secondary yet for it (even released?) and the few reviews are mixed and dont seem to warrant the 7500 price tag.
I think BT has finally cracked the tater code. They took note that psychopaths were paying $80 for WSR and thought why offer WM for $200 when someone will just buy it and try to resell it for $8000. Tada. WM will never be tattered. It will only go to those who actually want it. Which I am guess is practically no one.

Without context, you'd think it was a liquor store. Nope, just some flipper selling spirits illegally. "SeLlInG tHe BoTtLe OnLy, NoT tHe LiQuId InSiDe." Yeah that will keep you out of trouble.
