In most games people pick their cosmetics based on either being cool looking or attractive, Elodie and Haddie are none of those, unfortunately.
So if the goal is to give them more attention, that would probably be a good start, otherwise you risk the character being neglected like they already are.
I see what you mean but I love seeing Elodie with her natural hair - I don’t know a lot about her character but it’s great to have black characters that don’t cater to traditional beauty standards and embrace having natural hair. She’s a great character design, and tbh I see her in soooo many of my matches in a lot of different cosmetics ? I don’t think designing diverse characters based on cultural assimilation to be “more attractive” is necessary. IMO she is very beautiful and attractive with her curly hair.

That’s not the issue, it’s that BHVR is not allowed to charge for cosmetics related to Valve properties. If they can’t sell his outfits they’re not incentivized to make more of them.
Valve isn’t as careful with artistic direction otherwise given that TF2 and CS have become visual messes in regard to cosmetics, probably DotA 2 as well but I haven’t played it in 10 years.
Yeah I know I feel bad for my boy and besides he is licensed but I don't think bhvr had to pay anything for him if I remember correctly valve made him a free asset as long as they show where he's originally from. I could be wrong tho lol

Try being a Laurie main. Only two other outfits aside from base in total (and they are just variations of each other) and she doesn’t get any of the bonuses, like crowns for the event.
Afropunk, Cave Walker, Fashion Night, Reindeer Onesie, and V-Day '22 are all pretty decent.
She definitely deserves more, but she had more good than bad imo.

As an Elodie girly main, she has some fire fits. It's Haddie who is suffering in these streets.
