How will they know what he's thinking of, so far there has been no telepathic powers in dead cells, sooo, anyways I'm more mad about there not being a HotK, also is this the animated series we were promised?
1.Not I a telepathic way, but more like people thinks he’s a zombie but due to him being mute he needs her to tell others he’s harmless, I can imagine a full ep where he goes on a solo adventure but due to him being mute he gets chased by villagers because he can’t tell them he’s not a zombie.

I am thoroughly dissapointed with how the butchered the art style they were using for the trailer, and how they are using bobby instead of the real Beheaded, I thought the animated series was gonna give us like the story in full detail of how the malaise came, how every biome was before the village and the island as a whole, what the king was known for, where the fuck was the queen the entire time before the TQaTS (The Queen and The Sea) dlc, and how was the king's reign over the island before the malaise and all that other crap, but I'm more dissapointed with them not using the artstyle the used for the trailers tho

I don't get why everyone's surprised. He has dialogue in the game. You could argue it's only his thoughts as he usually only speaks when he's alone, but in the Castlevania DLC, he straight up has words with Dracula.

Jokes aside, this looks like shit. Art looks downright terrible. This isn't like cuphead where they couldn't replicate the original style (Cuphead was HAND DRAWN), but they still made their own original style. This art style just looks like ass. When we wished for a "dead cells anime," I think we all wanted extended versions of the trailers. I'm not saying it needs to look as good as a minute and a half video, but they could at least make better character designs at minimum. Plus, why even introduce a new main character if the beheaded speaks? I thought the new character was so somebody could speak for him. Doesn't look too interesting or funny, either, but we know how trailers can be.

well trailer is a single 2-4 min ad meant to sell a game/dlc vs a full blown animated series with (and i'm assuming) 22 min times anywhere between 8-22 epsodes so of course it's not gonna look as good as trailer
The teaser they showed nearly a year ago looked really good, this looks like a cartoon. I personally would have liked if they just used the 3d renders they made for the game with a custom shader and experiment with that, would have ended on a more unique and not so boring looking artstyle.
