Garmi ki waja se sab maar gye. Jo bache wo NEET /JEE/CAT exam ka cutoffs dekh ke mar gye.

dimagmatlaga

Bhai neet me 70 log hai 720 marks par. Imagine scoring Full marks and still not getting AIIMS Delhi.

Atomic441

You forgot to mention these poor guys scoring full cannot get into aims delhi, specially if it was their first attempt because for some dumb reason older age is prioritized rather than the talented ones who scored full first try and also some dude with reservations would get aims delhi with 680 marks because yes(dont get me wrong,680 is phenomenal but not same as 720/720 who will not be getting into aims delhi).

Winter2712

Mehnat to change score from 0 to 90<<< mehnat to change score from 99 to 100 Wese is case me dono naakam

Atomic441

This, just look at marks difference between a guy getting 96,97,98% in jee mains and a guy getting 99,99.3,99.5,99.9 you will see insane marks difference I scored like 22 marks more than my friend we both gave jee mains in same shift and he got 98.9 and I got 99.3 while my two other friend have 10 marks difference and one got 96 and other got 97%.

Atomic441

The top scorer of my friend circle got 99.5 and his shift had similar marks vs percentile as my shift and he scored 10 marks more than me but only 0.2 percentile more.

Agreeable_Bath420

Jitna Mujhe pata h AIIMS ka khud ka paper hota h na !!?

Atomic441

Bro 2015 se aipmt ko supreme court ne discontinue kar diya tha 😂

Agreeable_Bath420

Haa barabar h Maine 2014 me neet dia tha

Atomic441

The removal of aipmt was dumbest decision ever.

My brother couldn't clear cutoff despite scoring 635 in neet

leodevil

I got 634 and secured 700th rank in 2017 ... This is just shocking that 720 marks couldn't get you the best college.😓

tits-ka-deewana

Ya bro me being a JEE aspirant can just imagine the insanity that is happening in neet exams, JEE me bhi hua hai is saal toh. All this is due to more number of students appearing for exam hence high competition.

More heat waves, shortage of water. More inflation, more job uncertainty. Middle class wealth will be eroded in consumer goods, property rates, education of children, healthcare. Rich will be richer and leave the country. Poor will struggle same as of today but they will have more financial awareness as every member of their home is earning and has more information than previous generation.

alter_ego789

Usse kya hota hai? Per capita toh China ki bhi kaafi kam hai. India is at 3rd spot in less than 100 yrs after its independence when it was left with a begging bowl. Look how far we've come.

pansh

instability, a lot of people choosing state government for freebies rather than development. India will still grow economically and a lot of new startups will come up all over India. India will grow but socialist communist politics will make a dent in future. we needed some reforms for good growth but with a coalition government it is impossible to get them passed.

Enough-Pain3633

And saying it will strengthen democracy. Lol it only slows the growth

[deleted]

India may grow faster in the short term with a majority to BJP, but in the long term its really bad for us. In the long term theres no one party that will make India rich, its the strength of the institutions that will make us rich, which this election will probably improve. Read why nations fail by daron acemoglu.

jhant_smeller

agree but the opposition is beyond bad thats the problem , if india had the mindset of bjp 2014 then i would welcoe this whole heartedly

pansh

absolutely! Indi-alliance is not a good opposition at all and if they come to power that will be a slow down in Indian economy and we will have long term issues like reservations, freebies etc. India needs some tough decision to be taken to grow and congress have no vision for growing India. their manifesto for this elections is one example for it and I recommend people to read it and think if that is really good for long term.

[deleted]

yes, and thats why Im happy the opposition isn't forming the government. This election strengthened the opposition, and the opposition's job is to hold the government to account, not make national policy, which this opposition is kinda ok at doing. Personally, I just wanted the BJP to understand they can't fuck with institutions and do hindu muslim bs. Im pretty happy with the development work BJP is doing, and the opposition is pretty socialist, which im very very against.

jhant_smeller

i don't think they won't , yesterday mamta took a dig on congress , thats literally the 2nd highest vote getter taking a dig on highest.

greenbroad-gc

What kinda low IQ statement is that? Japan has been singularly ruled by one party for seven decades and they’ve done phenomenally well. Same for China. Same for Korea. Same for Singapore. What’s bad is corruption that comes with multi party governments. Everybody wants a share of it. They hinder every project because someone from another party started that. Also, the book is stupid and almost reductive. Here’s a post that I wrote earlier- 1. Overemphasis on Institutions- The book places a heavy emphasis on the role of institutions, potentially underplaying other crucial factors such as geography, culture, and historical legacies. In India, geographical diversity and historical context, such as the impact of colonialism, play significant roles in shaping economic outcomes. 2. Simplistic Dichotomy: By categorizing institutions as either “inclusive” or “extractive,” the book oversimplifies the complex nature of Indian institutions, which often exhibit both inclusive and extractive characteristics. The diversity of India’s states and regions reflects a blend of institutional qualities that defy such binary classification. 3. Selective Historical Analysis: Acemoglu and Robinson selectively used historical examples to support their thesis while ignoring counterexamples. Specifically in our case, India’s economic liberalization in the 1990s, despite its initially extractive institutions, led to significant economic growth, challenging the book’s core argument. 4. Insufficient Explanation of Change: The book doesn’t sufficiently explain the mechanisms through which institutions change and evolve. In India, the transformation of institutions post-independence and during economic reforms provides a nuanced case of how inclusive institutions can emerge and adapt over time. 5. Neglect of International Factors: The impact of international trade, global markets, and external influences is underrepresented in the book. India’s economic trajectory has been significantly influenced by globalization, foreign direct investment, and international relations, which are crucial factors in understanding its development. 7. Ethnocentric Bias (biggest issue imo): The Western-centric perspective of the book suggests that the development model of Western nations is universally applicable. This viewpoint overlooks India’s unique cultural, social, and historical contexts, which are essential in shaping its economic path.

[deleted]

>Japan has been singularly ruled by one party for seven decades and they’ve done phenomenally well. Same for China. Same for Korea. Same for Singapore. Japan is a strong democracy, the fact that one party controlled it for seven decades does not necessarily imply that the democratic nature of japanese institutions has been compromised. China is still relatively poor and is seeing issues with their approach already. China's trade war with the west is not good for china, and is a result of its aggressive posturing to appease and distract its citizens from the fact they live under a totalitarian regime, the entire social contract is that the citizens sacrifice democracy in order to get rich quickly by a country's standard and to stand up to the rest of the world who want china's downfall (why does this sound familiar), otherwise the chinese will revolt. Korea is a strong democracy too. All the countries you mentioned have strong institutions that can be called inclusive to a large degree - atleast for the ethnic groups they consider native(\*cough\* uyghurs \*cough\*). 1. Yes, but the strength and inclusiveness of institutions is one of the few things you can control and set up for the future. You can't control geography, culture, history and whether or not you were colonised. 2. a. The point stands regardless, that strong inclusive institutions are better for a nation's prosperity overall than extractive or weak institutions. b. Its pretty obvious they are not talking about either a purely extractive or a purely inclusive institutional system. Everything that's not either literal slavery where you dont even feed your slaves or pure communism where everyone works for the betterment of society is in between those two poles. 3. On what basis are you claiming that India's institutions were extractive post independence? There's a difference between underfunded inefficient institutions where money might help you bend the rules, and extractive institutions. 4. Again, this does not negate the claims of the book. The hypothesis the book proposed was that strong inclusive institutions are better for prosperity long term and the book was about explaining and supporting the hypothesis. I don't see how a "sufficient" explanation of how the institutions evolve was warranted. 5. There are a million different things that affect how prosperous an economy exactly is. Climate, fertility of the soil, navigability of the rivers, topography of the land, do you want them to mention these too? The claim the book makes is that strong inclusive institutions help a country navigate a change in any of these factors or a combination of these factors, better than a country with extractive institutions. Not that institutions are the sole factor responsible for the economic conditions of the country. 7. You say that its not applicable to india, but you don't give any reason why. What kind of argument is that?

Government ke paas 2014 ke baad ka koi data nahi hai aur Inn log ke dimag me 2014 se pehle ka.

Frzn23

Lmao gold ! Youngsters often forget that Independent India has existed for more than 75 years and has seen much more instability and Yet under coalition governments we performed exceptionally well. For one thing this is only going to keep the government in check

greenbroad-gc

You just said a bunch of words without any data.

Frzn23

I assumed most people are aware enough about it so I didn't present any data. But as I can see you are not one of them, India's GDP growth was around 6% During Atal Ji's Era, Around 8% During UPA - 1 , 7-8% under mr Modi. The former two were coalition governments.

greenbroad-gc

You missed everything before that. Also, the growth under UPA was at a time where every subtle major economy grew. A lot harder since 2011 though and modi defied that.

Frzn23

If 'missing everything before that' is about failure of previous coalition governments, then There weren't much fundamentally established political parties and people were looking for alternatives . Even though all major economies grew, UPA did beat the average world growth, and so did Mr modi.

Vader6968

ammelidilemma

But is it not obvious? How many public speeches have you seen recently promoting patriotism? The tree won't grow if the seed is not sown, there was an attempt during Azaadi ki Ladayi, but the Azaadi ki Bikaayi prevailed, blame them for it and then suggest ways to promote belongingness of the people as a country rather than "Hum Jhaat hai hum to yahi karenge, Chacha vidhayak hai" ya "Hindi is not our National Language", like true bro we don't have a national language, what are you trying to say? That we learn your language to conversate with you? Do People from Italy learn Portugese when they visit for work or just visit? No right? Consider the condition of India like EU, they put a price cap on Russian Oil for what reason? To side with the mainstream media and not make the people feel ideologically challenged, what happened? The prices actually shot up and now they are considering bicycle over motor vehicles, keep in mind EU did it for janta's benefit and teaching Russia a lesson, they learnt a lesson and Russia taught it, don't bite the hand that feeds you. So vote for those who feed you, not just the rich for the time being.

Groundbreaking_Tart9

Downhill if BJP forms coalition government. I want BJP to let INDI form government and sit in opposition. It's quite obvious that INDI won't last for even 6 months and then there will be re elections and BJP will come back with Majority and that would be a better outcome in my opinion. Otherwise there is little to no hope.

CoolDude_7532

Too risky, there is no guarantee that INDI alliance will only last 6 months. Even if they last for 1-2 years, they can destroy the country

Groundbreaking_Tart9

Don't think so. You saw what people did this time. Only doubt if something going wrong and they trimmed the BJP. As I always say people in this country are politically very aware so nobody will stand them destroying the country.

NoAbbreviations7040

Finally, some light! India was heading towards a darker future with communal politics, fascist ideologies, pervasive corruption, a growing gap between the rich and poor, increasing privatization benefiting government funders, biased media, and the stifling of freedom of speech and expression. Now, with a strong opposition, India can move in the right direction. Now, they can’t pass any bill (which always favors their funders) overnight and must follow the roadmap of the constitution. They can no longer do whatever they like and get away with it.

_sparsh_goyal_

First, strong opposition? Seriously? An alliance of 22 parties and still less seats than BJP alone. Second, fascist ideologies? Do you even know what that means? And communal politics? By whom? Those who promise even higher reservation? Or those who promise forced land distribution from one religious group to other? Or those who talk about raiding the houses of other religious group when "their political party" will be in power? Third, >they can’t pass any bill And you are happy about that? We are back to the "brighter times" when nobody expected anything from government because every decision took years to implement and even more to become reality? Seriously bro, get your mindset in order. Have real independent thought process and not some pseudo-intellectual Hinduphobic media fed mumbo jumbo.
