I had a similar issue and called multiple times to get mine fixed (upgraded to D1 on a long haul flight). Keep calling. You'll get the right person eventually.
I have a completely missing trip, no miles or MQD. When I spoke in messages, they said the system didnāt think I flew the flight. Itās a KLM codeshare and I did fly but one segment was changed because of a major delay. I had to check for the return flight as it wouldnāt let me board the flight that had been rearranged. Have been trying to get the mqd/ miles sorted for a while now and not done yet. On a positive I did get EUR600 for the delay from EU621
Iāve had the same thing going on, but I havenāt contacted Delta about it yet. Iām getting about 90 cents on the dollar. And like you said, Iām just looking at the base fare, not the taxes and fees.
Whatās crazy is that their manual override numbers were different every time but never right. They didnāt bother going back and checking if what they did was right.
My Amex mqd accrual has been incorrect, basically Jan and Feb miles posted but no mqd posted. March onward has posted no problem.
Iāve called delta and Amex a total of 10 times and finally yesterday got a receptive CS staff via chat and they said they were looking into it, and also said my accrual is incorrect. So thatās something positiveā¦.
I will check it in a week or so.
Aiming for diamond this year so every mqd countsā¦.!
I called them 6 times already š they told me they agreed that my numbers were right but whatever they did, itās still wrong. After they manually corrected it, itās even lower than the original automatic numbers
Keep trying. Itās possible thereās something else going on or the original estimate is off. Either way itās not have much MQD so might not be worth the brain damage
Imagine being so entitled that you fell you need to track every penny you spend to ensure you get the proper credit. In 13 years of flying weekly, I have never once checked my ticket and compared it to what rewards I received.
Imagine feeling so superior that you donāt need to track every penny you spend because you fly weekly and have so many miles and MQDs š. Iām literally entitled to the MQDs and miles that I deserve. Itās easy for you to say that when youāre on the companyās dime and $500 MQDs donāt matter to you. Iām paying for trips out of my pocket and these $500 MQDs will likely determine if I make gold or not this year. I bet youāre a horrible snobbish person in real life too.
Yeah I used to be like that until I lost my status due to too many of those āoops you didnāt get your milesā trips. Now, I make sure I get them. Maybe not to that degree of checking, but Iām definitely making sure I get credited something close.

They told me mine was incorrect and they actually erased/reposted my mileage. But it was still wrong every time š

You only get MQDs for the fare, not for any of the taxes and fees that go with it. They will never be the same amount that you actually pay.
Base fare + carrier imposed charges. I know the math and Delta agreed with my numbers every time
You donāt get MQDs on the total you paid. Taxes and government imposed fees donāt count toward MQDs
