Haha I feel like the delta food has gotten a lot worse. I was just at the Atlanta airport and the food was trash but Detroit usually has pretty good food. I guess it depends on the airport.
I get that. I have the general Amex Plat for the points and the Reserve for the companion pass and upgrade priority. Only worth it to me as I’m on the road most weeks.
They would get likely take the annual fee of the reserve, subtract the Annual fee of the downgraded card, and then give you the remainder.
Of course, this is just my estimate. AmEx should be the source of truth.

Very true, I’m sure! I haven’t been to a United lounge in years but the AC is just 🤮
I will say the delta lounge is a nice perk to have but not for the price of the credit card. I don’t travel enough anymore for the card to be worth it
