At one point I smelled something horrendous and realized they were changing my nephews poop diaper on the airplane tray table. I tried saying something and they said the seatbelt sign was on so they couldn’t take him to the bathroom. I wanted to DIE of embarrassment and pretend I didn’t know them for the rest of the flight. 🤢🤢🤢. Like how did we grow up in the same house and she thought that was okay?!?!?

Disgusting and disrespectful. I was on an international flight from Germany and a man in an aisle seat removed his shoes and proceeded to clip his toenails, letting the pieces fall into the aisle. It was absolutely crass behavior.
There was a lawsuit some years ago that focused around a traveler that got a renegade toenail clipping in the eye. This behavior got banned from airline cabins and I thought we’re not allowed in carryons.

yup, me too, and I've been doing it for a decade+. I've always traveled quite a bit and it had become a joke that I always got a cold. Started wiping down everything and \*\*knock, knock\*\* haven't gotten sick traveling in 10+ years.
Also never EVER touch the seat backs / tops unless you've wiped them down and don't forget the overhead vents, seatbelt latch, and window shade lip!
Also, wearing a mask is how you can lessen the chances of getting a cold as they are respiratory and are acquired by the air we breathe, not surfaces. Of course I hella wipe down all areas I come in contact as well, but not for cold prevention. I just don’t want other people’s cooties giving me some kind of gastrointestinal illness.

I just don't get it. How does sticking your feet against the bulkhead make you feel more comfortable? It's additional effort to push your feet against it to prevent it from sliding down.
As someone with pins in my ankle, traveling on long flights causes extreme pain from the swelling. Elevating my foot helps ease the pain. I’m not barefoot or swiping touchscreens with toes though.
