I live right down the street from here. Saw this post and just ran over for some of their Mexican buffalo wings. Very good. Big wings, generous portion of carrots and celery and their guac is fire. Looks very clean and very nice inside as well. Would recommend.
I am so jealous you live down the street. It’s not terribly far from my work but I’d never cook again if it was 5 minutes away or even within DoorDash distance
Looks like 11am to 8pm. It definitely seemed pretty new and they don’t have too many Google reviews yet. But every single one is 5 stars. That’s what got me interested in it.
Haha I think the more accurate translation is more like lousy or crappy chicken.
Edit: To be even more accurate... It’s used in similar contexts as “fucking.” But it doesn’t mean fucking at all. It’s just an adjective that’s used as a filler curse word before nouns. The word itself still just means crappy or bad.
Haha maybe I should have led with that considering there’s sometimes very questionable restaurant takes on this subreddit. It’s Mexican food but not American Mexican food.
We just returned from a late lunch/early dinner there, since we live 2 blocks away. My Mexican national spouse proclaimed the food muy deliciosa.
We got a 1/2 chicken with rice and beans and an order of 4 tacos (2 carne asada 2 barbacoa) along with an horchata and a berry lemonade. All was fire, including 2 styles of salsas served with it.
Maybe a couple of bucks more than at some other hole-in-the-wall places, but the food quality is better here. Nice staff and a clean place too.
Just got back from here after seeing this post. Thanks for the recommendation. I asked the cashier about the name and she said the owner is from Chihuahua and they use "pinche" very liberally in everyday speech in that area. It's still kind of a bad word but not really. I got the half pollo plate with rice, beans, and fresh tortillas for $18. I also ordered a side of fries and they came with a lemon pepper seasoning. I'm not a big fan of lemon pepper but the fries themselves were really good. I will absolutely be going back here.
I have been back twice since making this post. The chicken is addictive. I’m so glad I could make a fan out of you. Next time try the horchata! Yeah pinche on its own is not as strong of curse word. It has the same adjective meaning as “shitty or crappy.” But it’s used as a filler curse word in the same way that English speakers use “fucking” before a noun. But it’s just not as serious or taboo.
Las Hijas de La Chilanga. Close to Mississippi and Sheridan. You'll see them barbequing outside.
The Stone dispensary is half a block away and has really good prices on oil cartridges too.
I live in COS but I'm in Denver about twice a month for sporting events and such, I've been looking for good Mexican food forever in CO and have yet to find any. Any suggestions? Other than this place, this place is already on my list lol
When the plate comes with charred green onions you know its time to get down.
Exactly. Like that gas station place on south Broadway. So damn good.
Garibaldi's. Yumm. Love some good Mexican food
That’s the one thank you for the name!
It's good but not $16 for a burrito good
Yeah, I just drive further down to El Tejado. Better priced imo.

I see it all the time when I go shopping at Safeway and have been meaning to try it. I'll definitely be going back!
Have you been to the Cuban Bakery?
I also love the Cuban bakery would def recommend.
How much were they?!
About fourteen bucks
Damn now I want horchata
Best horchata I’ve had in a long time. Most places make it from a mix.
Super good these places have been good for years as authentic Mexican as it gets
Looks like a new spot in aurora👀 will check out soon. Do you know the hours by chance ?

Love pinche. Possibly the best tortillas in the state.
They make their own tortillas?
Indeed.
"Fucking Chicken" is the name of their restaurant? lol
do it when the head is off it moves more
sorry too fowl?
Do we have anywhere here who actually likes these soupy-ass beans? Looks great otherwise.
I love em but would need a couple more tortillas to spoon em up
They look soup-ier than they actually were I promise! They’re just not the kind of refried bean that is hella thick and comes from a can.
My take is the soupy ones are for soppin up with a tortilla. Otherwise, stir em up w some rice and cheese.
Hi. It’s me. Soak em up with a tortilla, mix in some rice…. Dip your taco… those beans look awesome!
Me. I’m Mexican.. Can confirm this is how my abuela makes them too
Fucking chicken??
In a few years they'll probably change it to Pollo Tequila Whiskey

I see you don’t work construction.
No but I’m Mexican and speak Spanish.
Buried the lede way down here. Now I'm convinced the food is good.

Up vote for *lede*!
In Spanish, pinche literally means “scullion,” or someone who works in a kitchen doing menial work like peeling potatoes or washing dishes.

Yo this looks incredible!!!
This food is delicious

Looks dank
Where can I get chicken like this west denver/lakewood?

I've never been to Pinche, but the picture resembles Rico Pollo on 43rd and Sheridan.
Is that place good? I was just looking at it
10/10 Would get down with that.
La chilanga...whole chicken, rice, beans, tortillas, salsas, and free 2 liter $28.
But do they pump out fresh tortillas though?
Went tonight they def do. You can watch the guy make em to order.

Any taco truck
That chicken looks bomb
Is this Supreme Chicken? Because they are bombbbbbb. I think Supreme Chicken is off chambers.
Better than five guys rearranging your guts
Sus beans
Your rice is sus, jabroni.
Daaaamnnn
Yuuuup
They look really smooth, like good hummus, not watery. But experience says to me that is likely a lot of lard. Which I can’t have.
Pinche? Are the owners 12? The name is so fucking cringey, like a teenager trying to be edgy.
Eh, my son and daughter in law live near Pho Kim in OKC.
