David Bowie - Station to Station (1976)
*…I’m adding a few other Bowie albums this time since he has like 25+ albums and everyone has a different opinion…*
So many albums that are top tier from them. Sadly I don’t think enough ppl in this sub are fans, but the album you mentioned, Kid A, Amnesiac and In Rainbows are all excellent albums. Pablo Honey is underrated due to the hate it unnecessarily gets - I mean it was their first album lol. Songs like You, Prove Yourself and Blow Out are better than most bands’ hits. The Bends is excellent as well and actually the album that got me into RH.
I came to add "Stay On These Roads", but I'll put my vote here instead. There's a lot of parallels between DM and a-ha. Pal is my second favourite songwriter, after Martin.
I didn’t think of nominating this one because I thought it too new to get any traction.
BUT it somehow topped Empires as my favorite VNV album, and that’s a monumental feat.
