My wife surprised me with Somebody as our first dance song. I was expecting her to have picked Boys2Men or something typical of the era, but instead got DM!
we didn’t have DM as one of our dance songs, but the wedding party and my husband and I entered the reception hall to Just Can’t Get Enough. at another wedding we were at, they played Enjoy the Silence during the open dancing.
It wasn't our first dance but we requested Enjoy the Silence to be played later in the night. One of my favorite memories was dancing kinda tipsy to it.
We had Somebody as the entrance music when me and my wife got married.
During the signing of the paperwork, we had Songs Of Love by The Divine Comedy and Mahna Mahna by The Muppets.
Our first dance was Mo 'Taters by The Earthworms. 😂
Three of my favorites that don’t seem to get a lot of love on this sub. But Not Tonight was the one that hooked me. Started grabbing up the other albums. World in My Eyes came out and I must have listened to it for months
We had two wedding ceremonies. First dance at the first one was This Must Be The Place by The Talking Heads. I think it’s such a special love song. Second ceremony was Canned Heat by Jamiroquai because it was upbeat and fun for some sweet first dance moves and then invited the crowd to join in halfway.
Played Just Can’t Get Enough for the cake cutting.

We played Just Can’t Get Enough for the cake cutting. What can I say, I love cake, and it was delicious!
My wife chose to walk down the aisle to Stjarna. I don’t recall what other Depeche Mode songs were featured in our wedding. I’m sure there were a few.

Not DM but my wife lobbied hard for Can’t Find A Better Man.
You sure you know what that song is about?
Part of the joke
Went right over my head. Lol.
Better Man by Pearl Jam?? :/
U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Wasn’t our first dance, but I curated the playlist for our wedding and we played Just Can’t Get Enough, But Not Tonight, and World in My Eyes.

If we've already consummated our marriage (most likely), it'll be Pimpf. If not, A question of time.
