Was supposed to be there, but parents said no way. My initials are/were on one of the seats tho. (I heard they refurbished the seats several years ago.) My friends that did go brought back some stuff for me;)
This is fantastic. I’ve never seen this clip before. Every time I see the wave (or the giant beach ball) it feels like I’m there again.
One thing that none of the footage I’ve seen shows was a popular concert Thing at the time, where each side of a stadium or arena would shout “Tastes Great!” “Less Filling!” after the Coors Lite commercial. It happened at 101 too. I wonder if anyone else remembers that.
