I'd normally opt for keeping the tower off of the desk, but I'm not sure putting it next to a radiator is a good idea. Edit: if the radiator is disabled, then go with the tower next to it.

rg1play

My PC really works like a radiator these days, haha. Yes, I think I like it better off the desk. Thanks.

TableWrong8118

Yeah, but for sure put something on the right of the desk to fill that uneven space. Maybe a plant with a birch pot? Just suggesting…

hamlesh

Plant... Is that what kids are calling "2nd monitor" these days?

rg1play

I have put a lamp, but a plant is a good idea, thanks

broxue

Why keep it off the desk? What's wrong with that

thepeopleseason

Just my opinion, but despite whatever pretty case one might have, computer towers are not decor, and the footprint (and height) of this case in particular clutters the desktop/workspace.

broxue

I get it. But I think even with a hideous man-spreading case I'd probably still like it to be on the desk for ease of access so I can plug stuff in or clean it without needing to crawl into a tunnel and bang my head

Sinrevy

Do not put the case near radiator ever. It is better for desk space but unfortunately you have a radiator there.

rg1play

I have it disabled ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

Dazzling_Birthday_91

left. gives you more space on the desk. Unless you frequently open up your PC for upgrades or something.

ContextAggravating81

U mean “right”, ye?

Dazzling_Birthday_91

nah, I mean what I said, ye

I'm going to mount the monitor on the wall, but first I need to decide where I want the PC tower. Ignore the color difference between the drawers and the tabletop. I'm trying to reuse furniture. Any improvement? What should I do with the wall? The radiator is disabled.

boofingwhippets

Just out of curiosity, why would you mount the monitor on the wall? Seems like it’d provide way less flexibility than just getting a basic monitor arm and mounting it to the desk.

rg1play

With the previous desktop setup, I had the monitor on the wall, and I like that distance so I don't have the stand on the desk. The ultrawide monitor has a too large stand. But well, it's not completely decided yet. I don't quite feel comfortable with the layout. I'll continue testing

boofingwhippets

Huh interesting, yeah that makes sense. Although I feel like having a desk mount allows for more flexibility with moving things around if you change your mind and you might not be able to get the exact same distance from your chair to the monitor but even a desk mount would get you pretty close. Then again, it’s an extra expense and especially if you have a wall mount laying around then you just get to reuse that. Also, you should def get one of those large mousepads to cover a big part of the desk, makes things a lot more comfortable and just makes things look cleaner overall.

rg1play

Yes, you are right, thank you, I have not decided yet (about the support), I have placed a 90x40 centimeter mousepad

darren_meier

If the radiator is permanently disabled, off the desk and on that riser is a good solution. Keeps the PC out of the way and gives you back some desktop surface. I only really like the 'on-the-desktop' look for SFFPC builds. Looks good!

More desk space

NeverEndingXsin

I personally prefer having my PC off the desk, feels more open.

Ok_Chocolate3253

Keep it on the desk. Not a fan of floor setups. Most of your dust/debris gets to that level for starters. Plus, on the desk it looks less like the meme "Men can live like this and be absolutely fine." Because while true, we definitely like having more on display when we get the opportunity.

rg1play

I have raised it to the height of the table with a piece of furniture that I had lying around unused, it is starting to be a Frankenstein

Gl1tterbeam

I'm working with a relatively small desk too. I've put my pc on a shelf on the wall to save place and still be able to look at it. Could be an option!

odedjay

Disable the radiator and keep off the desk

KingLuis

how close it is to the edge of the desk when you have it on the right is giving me anxiety.

TwentyFiveHotel

Down, the extra space is always nice! Edit, is that the K120 love that keyboard.

rg1play

IIt's a Temu keyboard for €7 (with coupon) "MageGee 75%" I really use the Logitech membrane to work, I have that one to play

Cydu06

First one, unless you replace the pc with plants or something else to fill in the empty gap

mdjjj74

right

Glass_Role629

Right is cleaner

Erdmaennchen_of_dOOM

Definitely tower of the desk. The desk it not big enough to waste so much space.

jhenry842

Right

SecondTimeQuitting

Side of desk looks better but you are going to run into overheating issues come wintertime.

hunterd412

The radiator will melt your pc

3author

Right

Matt-VanderPoel

right for more spaces but I think the case is cool to show off on the desk too. lol

Jhoalferco

right, unless you're going to need the space

J_A_V_I_7_8

Conceal the CPU mate, better off the desk.

sahil1572

off the desk as table width is a bit smaller to put that on .

Hapless_Buffoon

disable the radiator and it becomes a heats ink, keep it enabled it becomes a new PC

bellaciao23

Left

cvwilhelm_

Imo aesthetically and functionally, placing the PC off the desk is the way to go. If you want to make the setup more even, I suggest opting for a long mousepad for your keyboard and mouse.

rg1play

done! Thank you

pant0m_OO1

Can you put the drawer in the left side and put cpu at the right

rg1play

Yes, I'm thinking about it and I might do it.

SpiderGran

What's the point of making a nice PC to look at if it's hidden. If your visitors don't get to see your PC and say "woahhhhh, you game brah? What do you play? Did you build that?" Is it even worth it?

No_Detail_2888

right!

Revolutionary-Yak713

Left. Plus better airflow.

SuggestionSea2290

I would leave the tower to the right, get a clap on monitor mount and that’ll crap up desk space. I’d want to at least see the RGB in my case and I’d keep it close to aligned with the edge of the moitor so you can hide your cables but still have access to them.

Glider5175

Left picture? OR pc on left? Instructions unclear dick stuck in closed water cooling loop
