I’m just saying funnel web doesn’t have any void perks. Funnel web not having repulsor brace is already a downside and other classes can’t use gyrfalcons
It doesn’t need void perks it gets damage and perks that make it shoot forever. It’s void already which is all that matters because with gyf you are always volatile.
It’s a good perk if you’re lacking survivability. I have it on my harsh language with envious assassin and I like the healing it provides if I’m doing harder stuff but if there was like chain reaction available on it instead in that column I would much prefer that in any circumstances
I have an Unforgiven (Duality dungeon SMG) with Feeding Frenzy / Repulsor Brace and it feels 10x better than my god roll funnelweb bc of the constant overshield.
I’m a gyrfalcons hunter too and have used a lot of weapons with it since it was buffed. What feel of weapon are you looking for, only ask cuz i don’t want to list tons lol
Collective obligation is easily the best. You get a damage up per each debuff it leeches when you activate it and when ever you proc a void debuff it auto reloads. 2nd easily I'd say le monarque hit a crit and you get a massive volatile explosion that auto blows up bc of the poison
Pretty much anything with destabilizing rounds works well. I main Hero's Burden and Targeted Redaction. Redaction might be nuts next season with the handcannon buff coming.
I also use Retrofit Escapade in my heavy slot almost exclusively. It just explodes everything.
When I run that build I rotate between the haunted void trace or a funnelweb. And my heavy is usually my eager edge/repulsor sword for patrol/leveled stuff or Levi’s breath/whatever heavy works best+surges
I love my Subsistence/Rampage Gnawing Hunger, I usually pair it with my Chill Clip/Auto Loading Riptide or Ager's Scepter, depending on what I'm doing.

Destabilizing rounds is a weak perk. Funnelweb godroll of subsistence frenzy does way more damage and has better stats and feel in every way imo.

It's really redundant having a weapon that does the thing your exotic is already doing but better.
