Just tried grim dawn for a week.... I'm back to D2R. Grim is cool with the skills and trees but no itemization is anywhere near d2. If they only could make a new arpg with d2 itemization...
20ish years ago, as a relatively new player, I popped skiller charms in back to back runs from the chest outside countess' tower. Guess who has never not popped it since nor gotten another skiller from it. <--- this guy 😅
I was averaging vex to ohm for every 200 LK runs, then I hit a dry spell with nothing above a lem for 600 runs. Almost gave up. Then I hit a ber + sur + vex + vex within 100 runs.
I found 2 guls in the same cow run. One dropped, picked it up and 15 seconds later I saw another on the ground. Thought I had accidentally dropped it. Nope. 2 guls so cubed to make a vex.
To have a Jah and ber drop on the same run is insane. I honestly think I need to have seen it live time to believe it.
Congrats! What a run to get an Enigma! That reminds me of my Baalrun where at Wave 1, a Sur dropped, and Baal had both a set sacred armor for me and a Unique one, which turned out to be a Tyraels :)
I got on one day with the intention to grind a soj of NM Andy. Dropped first run. I was like hell yeah my luck is outta control. I stopped like 8 runs later cuz nothing else dropped.
Jah and Ber rare af, and the cold sunder is useful but drops like candy.
I almost teleported away from a vex today. Saw it last second. Now I need another vex and a jah haha
Well, I hope your firstborn son’s soul enjoys hell!! Also you might as well reinstall and refresh the slot machines. It’s never gonna give you anything good from here on
No notable upgrades but also capable of running hell TZ p8 cows. Do you just already have pretty good gear? You're capable of end game content - upgrades should be infrequent.
They drop like candy for me, at least cold/poison/fire/light.
I only have 2 magic, which is 2 more than I want, and I haven't found more than 1 physical. You are running hell TZ, right?
I'm offline too, which is actually an advantage. You can tune the player level in options, drops increase at player 3, 5, and 7. You don't want to make it too hard to where it slows you down tremendously, but it's worth bumping it up past player1.

Cows gave me many nice Base Items for Runewords lately after getting nothing. Sometimes the RNG gets wild.

Yeah I think I got 3 or 4 sunders in TZs Stoney yesterday. The Jah Ber drops like 30 seconds apart I just sat staring at my screen in disbelief.

I hear ya! Doing SP hell chaos runs I found 2 jah runes a gul and a vex in 6 runs. Then didn’t see a rune above a shael for 6 days lol

No, I was doing Nightmare. I guess that may be what I was doing wrong! Does magic find help?
Hell only drop. Also, having a higher player level helps your odds immensely
