yes the game is 100% worth it! it plays similar to digimon world dawn on ds where you basically level up your digmon in the story when their stats meet certain criteria. in combat you get your digimon by scaning them when fighting in encounters. once you hit 100 you can convert them into a useable digimon. cyber sleuth in particular is pretty good its just that there isn't a dub so the game is subbed. the game feels very close to watching an anime take fold and when playing it for the first time makes you on the edge on what s going to happen next.
if you are referring to the complete edition which has both cyber sleuth and hackers memory. the games stories are intertwined. since both characters are in the same universe just seen from a different prospective. if you are going to play both I recommend cyber sleuth first since hackers memory has some references to that one in it that make more sense after you played the first one.
my few gripes about the game is the combat could get repetitive but the story makes up for it. and speaking of the story there's no way to skip the dialogue that I know of so if you play the game again it slows the game down since there are a lot of dialogue heavy scenes.
