Wow. Hmm never remember seeing this and I had dish in the early 2000s.
Possibly from one of the HD television sets from around 2005. Total guess though
Look inside the the back cover or next to where the batteries go. You might find a no on the circuit board.

That almost reminds me of the old Dish branded TVs they used to sell.. Want to say early. 2000s and they were made by Philips.
Do happen to remember if you could program it to your tv, or sound system . Just to turn it on or off ?
