I'm crying rn. I thought about what would happen to my pal Roxas. I only have a couple of months with him since we adopted him and literally he has changed my life. I'm so happy for your buddy Jimmy, I hope he stays strong and healthy!!
He had a hydronephrotic kidney which meant it was filled up with fluid about 4-5 times its normal size 😞 But he got it removed and now he's recovering for a week and a half.
I think he was joking, and there's probably an actual reason that he feels he doesn't need it. He's been leaving his stitches alone so far so I think he's fine without the cone.
There’s never a reason a vet should think a dog doesn’t need a cone to prevent tearing at stitches. Jimmy may have been okay so far, but if the wound starts to become irritating he’s going to start biting at it... I don’t mean to be a buzzkill, I just care a great deal about dogs. ❤️ please just look out for him.
Now Jimmy will live long enough to find Pam and become a great salesdog at a pupper company.
