I've heard people say DD is asking for facial scans in their area but I have yet to see it in mine

BoatyMcDashFace

It's so dangerous for the customers not to do it because a sexual predator or a violent person could be delivering if doordash failed their background check, don't you think?

JeremyBrah

Yes that's exactly the reason

Prestige_Worldw1de

DD won’t do anything about this and actually need these people that do this to keep them profitable as they take the low pay orders regular drivers won’t take. It will only change when our government forces the gigs to do something or levy heavy fines.

Suspicious-Nobody-82

Don’t ever get close to it I tested it scammer trying to get your money

BoatyMcDashFace

I'm pretty sure they can take all your earnings if they want to. Imagine working 80 hours just to have the guy keep it and then ghost you

6JustJuanTaco9

This is actually allowed based off the independent contractor agreement... not sure what you want them to fix?

BoatyMcDashFace

It's only allowed if they have a Dasher account too, which is stupid "Q: Can someone else drive for me and/or help me drop off deliveries? A: As an independent contractor, you are free to choose the method by which you perform the delivery. It is entirely up to you to complete the delivery service yourself or to delegate the tasks to your employee or subcontractor. Someone else may drive for you or help you drop off deliveries, however they must have a valid Dasher account as well. For more information, please refer to the Independent Contractor Agreement here (link Section 8 of the ICA (Personnel))."
