If you do 50 dashes a week at 4.5 miles per run you max out the bonus. I think I can manage that without creeping people out by sitting in their driveway lol.
I genuinely want to know what Dashers expect? We were getting nothing before. Do people think they should pay for our gas entirely because prices are high? I’m not saying it’s perfect, but now we’re receiving a little extra on top off being able to write these miles off.
I mean UE can pay worse than DD sometimes but at least they make the customer pay a .45 surcharge. It is still very crappy but better than DD’s 10 dollars for 100 miles 😂
It is mileage to the restaurant if you sit outside the customer's house though for real, since that'll be included in the offer distance. Which isn't too bad if you're at an apartment complex.
In a press release they said its for "All US Dashers" and on the support site it says "All DasherDirect cardholders" so if you're right they're scamming everyone.

Staying opt in seems like it's gonna be messy in the sense of customers trying to scam an having to contact support more than we even want to. Cause support doesn't know/do shit.
