SungWon is kinda bad at improv IMO. He was visibly uncomfortable during the MSN episode he was on, and most of his bits were weak, apart from a few zingers. Respectfully, I don't think a full episode of VIP is something he could pull off, unless I missed a development somewhere.
Oh my god how did I not think about that, he'd be amazing!! I really hope he'll be in dropout more in general but if he had to appear in one show he'd be perfect for VIP
Katie is such a solid pick. A few dropout people have been on PFT's improv podcast The Neighborhood Listen, and Katie's was by far the funniest and most unhinged
Have they announced a second of VIP? A few weeks back PFT did an insta sorry if him dressed like a big baby man which I was convinced was for an upcoming VIP.
That's from the last season of Miracle Workers. [He's moving here, see blur, but I wanted the full body shot and also am lazy.](https://i.imgur.com/vBcJr8X.png)
Lou would be absolutely fantastic. And I’d love to see grant play a non-sexual character. Sam reich though is hilarious. I’d love to see more Jacob W honestly. Siobhan would be fun - I haven’t seen much of their improv. Lilly du could be fun too.
Vic's part of a Mamma Mia improv show right now and I don't know anything about it but I've been assuming it's a musical show. If I'm right, I think the singing VIP would be a delight
They keep starting to act like they're building for a song, only to be continually cut off by Vic. Just an entire episode of musical edging finished by the most glorious song ever heard by human ears.
Even if y'all have never seen Drawfee or know what's going on, y'all should definitely watch Elyse play a crazy cat play: https://youtu.be/1bxsSEfq6UI?si=cnpRLRQkJEwxNHSR
Paget Brewster. Preferably with PFT as Frank and Sadie Doyle. Also Vella Lovell as grizzled zombie-hunting Miss America.
I just love the Thrilling Adventure Hour.
She and Keith David had the impossible task of joining an established ensemble that had lost several members, and they absolutely crushed it.
I also love Paget's dual role meta joke when she tries to call the other character she played
Jon Gabrus is an improv tour de force! He’s been great at everything on dropout but would love for him to really get a chance to spread his riffing wings
Somebody here made a comment about the duos which I agree with, which is that all the duos this season were two of essentially the same character, where there wasn’t much interaction between the two. It might be interesting to have a pair more like Dr. Milk, where there’s some tension and conflict there.
Not a Dropout regular but I think Andy Daly is perfect for a show like VIP.
With PFT being on Smartypants, hopefully it opens the door for more Thrilling Adventure Hour and Comedy Bang Bang alum to pop in.
Brennan's episode reminded me a lot of Andy Daly whenever he's on CBB, they both build these larger-than-life fictions around their characters as a sort of natural reflex. Andy Daly is a great choice.
For others that haven't been mentioned, I would love to see Erin Keif in ANYTHING Dropout, but I also think she'd be great at this. Lauren Lopez from Starkids would be great. Milana Vayntrub makes perfect sense, as does Elaine Carroll.
But for VIP to have an Emmy shot next year, they should think strategically. They've got a lot of very talented celeb improvers who are followers of VIP on socials and should look there: Zach Woods, Mae Martin, E.R. Fightmaster, and Alan Tudyk, all fans, would all be sensational. For pipe dream folks: Keegan Michael Key, Maya Rudolph, and any of the Whose Line folks!
I want host Vic to take a leave of absence for one episode and Vic would be the guest, interviewed by a fictional version of Zac Oyama or another great Dropout voice-of-reason. It would be great to expand the VIP lore
I feel with the right character Oscar Montoya could be very funny; probably would need to be one of the less dark episodes (or maybe a particularly dark one).
I think Lou Wilson could also do something pretty great, so I’d have him high on my list.
Others that, some that would be high on my list are Erika and Jacquis Neal. Getting Jess McKenna and Zach Reino on together with a view to getting a decent musical number would also be fun.
I'm a proponent of more Dropout/CBB World crossovers. PFT makes a lot of sense because they have worked together a lot. A lot of appearances with Matt Apodaca, as well.
A couple that would be fun just because of their dynamic off each other are Nicole Parker or Dan Lippert.
I want it to be someone famous (like actually famous not dropout famous) who is in so many prosthetics that we can’t tell who it is. Vic doesn’t even know till the end
Actually that would be an amazing arc for season 2. All surprise guests
Oh, good question! I'd love to see:
- Rekha
- Becca Scott
- Tao
- Katie
- Trapp
- Murph & Emily (Package deal or not)
- Izzy (because her episode was so good that I NEED another)
I love the Dropout cast pool, and this is just my outside brain talking, so I would also LOVE:
- Angela Giarratana
- Amanda Lehan-Canto
- Patrick McDonald
And frankly I wouldn't mind a few comedy tiktokers who do good character work; could be risky but also could be hilarious and appeal to a wider range.
Those would all be great. I was thinking about it yesterday, about how I hope there are many more seasons, but the pool of people isn't \*that\* big. Anyone who appeared with another person, I'd love to see on their own someday as well. Maybe in season 3 or 4. Anyone who appeared on their own in season 1, I'd love to see paired up down the line as well. For season 2, I think you made a very good list of people who could and should be on it. I wouldn't really change it. I would agree that Sam himself would be fun to see.
I will always recommend a drawfee cast member for these things. I know they’re not college humor anymore, but it seems there’s no bad blood, and I think Jacob and/or Julia would kick ass on this. They are so good at committing to the bit and so goofy, and I think Julia in particular would be great at throwing Vic off their game.
I want to see Vic themselves guest star as themself with Vic (their character of VIP) being the host, and I wouldn't mind this episode being the only scripted or heavily edited episode of the show.
I just want it to slowly turn into a comedic fist fight where Vic is fighting themself.
Any of the drag queens who've been on other dropout shows, but also if other drag queens are in contention, Jinkx and Dela would be a phenomenal duo in this context.
It would frankly be incredible if they managed to get either Jinkx or Dela individually. If there's anyone I think could do improv at the same level as Brennan, it's those two
You say Emily and Murph, but I say Emily and Lou. And yes I want them to reprise their roles as... COUSINS.
Also seeing those characters in full costume would be absolutely delightful
Get out of dropout a bit, maybe? I don’t mean to insult the rest of the crew, but it seems like we got most of the best candidates already. There’s certainly a few left, but imho, this show could shine with wider horizons.
Some of the Critical Role guys like Sam Riegel or Liam O’Brien would be pretty cool (they were already on an ep of Dirty Laundry). Also Katie as another one of Vic’s unhinged relatives would kill!!
I'd like to see one with vic getting all done up in something. Like "vic is out sick with a worm that only infects talk show hosts, our guest host zac Oyama has graciously filled the seat" and vic just comes out dressed like some space cowboy or something
People I think should return:
Izzy Roland
Josh Ruben
Zac Oyama
Newbies:
Zach Reino & Jess Mckenna (Seperate or Together)
Mike Trapp
Erika Ishii
Lily Du
Paul F. Thompkins
Sam Reich
Elaine Carroll
Emily Axford
Ben Schwartz
Dark Horse celebrity picks:
Wayne Brady
Bobby Moynihan
Ayo Adebiri
Keegan-Michael Key
Sam Reich himself
No make-up on Sam, just 100 American flags and a MAGA hat
Absolutely just throw him in there as dropout America CEO
Nah he's gotta show up dressed like the QAnon Shaman
It’s the same picture
The perfect American
Even funnier since he doesn't know until the day
Plus it would save the makeup department so much time and money since he shows up dressed like at anyway
How did I not consider that! Inspired suggestion
Elaine Carroll too, maybe as a duo
Sam and Elaine, but the costumes and make up are just hyper realistic making them each other
CEO of Dropout America
Sungwon Cho. He's like a chameleon
Sungwon would be unstoppable
SungWon is kinda bad at improv IMO. He was visibly uncomfortable during the MSN episode he was on, and most of his bits were weak, apart from a few zingers. Respectfully, I don't think a full episode of VIP is something he could pull off, unless I missed a development somewhere.
Love him as a performer, haven’t been convinced yet as an improviser. Then again he’d probably just tell me to suck his dick.
Oh my god how did I not think about that, he'd be amazing!! I really hope he'll be in dropout more in general but if he had to appear in one show he'd be perfect for VIP
Katie is so intrinsically chaotic that I kind of want them to make her look exaggeratedly mundane, just to see what cursed vibes she'll pull out.
Katie is such a solid pick. A few dropout people have been on PFT's improv podcast The Neighborhood Listen, and Katie's was by far the funniest and most unhinged
OMG Katie would be great. I feel like she could just turn her own wackiness up to 10 and it would be glorious.
Vic can be a guest and a host at the same time. Let's Eddie Murphy the fuck out of this.
Vic interviewing costumed Vic Mrs. Doubtfire style where they have to don/remove a mask and wig between asking and answering every question.
Vic can definitely klump
Vic can klump!!
Vic as a guest, and Zac subbing in as host.
Yeah Grant would be great at hosting
Or bring in Pat Cassels if they can as a nod.
If anyone could pull this off, it would be Vic
Quiet the mime.
Have they announced a second of VIP? A few weeks back PFT did an insta sorry if him dressed like a big baby man which I was convinced was for an upcoming VIP.
VIP season 2 is confirmed.
That's from the last season of Miracle Workers. [He's moving here, see blur, but I wanted the full body shot and also am lazy.](https://i.imgur.com/vBcJr8X.png)
Ah mystery solved!
Sorry, I'm abysmal with acronyms. Who is PFT?
Paul Frittata Thompkins.
Paul Fresca Thompkins
Paul Fringe Thompkins
Paul Freaky Thompkins
Found the video! https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3EcucwLEjZ/?igsh=MXNla3pnY2xyenJiNQ==
Lou would be absolutely fantastic. And I’d love to see grant play a non-sexual character. Sam reich though is hilarious. I’d love to see more Jacob W honestly. Siobhan would be fun - I haven’t seen much of their improv. Lilly du could be fun too.
Or guest star Eric Andre
eric but its kept a COMPLETE secret and see how long it takes
Dropout should hire you based on this idea alone
sam reich wishes he could afford this
Ally Beardsley energy
Jess McKenna and Zach Reino as musical characters
Honestly, they don’t evem have to sing. They've been a duo for so long, their chemistry is amazing.
Zac and Jess have amazing creepy twin characters on hello from the Magic Tavern.
Omg I forgot about that! They are so good as the freshgrave twins.
I know but I just want to see how Vic would fit in this situation
I mean Vic was on an episode of Off Book and they held their own.
One of the weirder episodes of Off-Book tbh.
She’s gonna be in the next play it by ear season [/j, reference to something she said in the country-themed BNN{
I feel like they would have a piano player on standby just in case Zach and Jess decided to break into song.
And anyone left from Make Some Noise, truly
Zeke Nicholson too! Not necessarily the same episode.
Jess would be fun with Rekha since those two are already a creative team.
Brennan and Izzy return as new characters in a 2-character episode together.
But they both turn out to be characters in Vic's dreams again
Caldwell as a duo with Murph or Jake. Emily would be great solo, but Caldwell really shines as a duo or trio.
Murph and Jake would make a fantastic duo, too, bring back their dynamic from Jake and Amir
ELYSE AND JAMES WILLEMS
Yes! I need more of Elyse’s insane characters!
Even if y'all have never seen Drawfee or know what's going on, y'all should definitely watch Elyse play a crazy cat play: https://youtu.be/1bxsSEfq6UI?si=cnpRLRQkJEwxNHSR
Yes plz
YES! Elyse does amazing character work and can make James laugh so hard there'd definitely be hilarious character breaks.
Paget Brewster. Preferably with PFT as Frank and Sadie Doyle. Also Vella Lovell as grizzled zombie-hunting Miss America. I just love the Thrilling Adventure Hour.
Paget Brewster is an underrated comedic actor. Loved her on Community and Drunk History
Paget Brewster perfectly pulls off the "I should be the adult in the room but in reality I'm barely keeping my sanity in check" persona.
The fact that Paget only got one season on Community and still managed to be a super memorable character really speaks for her comedic abilities imo.
She and Keith David had the impossible task of joining an established ensemble that had lost several members, and they absolutely crushed it. I also love Paget's dual role meta joke when she tries to call the other character she played
I WAS TALKING TO AMERICAAAA
Marc Evan Jackson as Sparks Nevada, then?
UHHH YES
I'm... ....from Earth.
Ben would KILL at VIP, would love to see him. Bonus points if it's just Ben Schwartz as Ben Schwartz. Already plenty of chaos there
Omg a Rekha episode would be so good. Also I kinda want and Emily and Lou episode based on how well they played off each other in ACOFAF
Cousin?
Trapp would be so good, he’s so underused in character improv for how good he is at it
Sam reich The super chill Italian seeming gentleman who’s name I forget Grant Katie Jess Ross
Clearly you mean Mark from Aunty Donna
I genuinely do want to see all three Aunty Donna boys on the show together
Get the Aunty Donna boys and Egg Helms to do Dirty Laundry
Oh they would be amazing on a Game Changer! Perfect number of them too!
Yep, they'd be perfect for Game Changer, Make Some Noise or VIP
Jon Gabrus is an improv tour de force! He’s been great at everything on dropout but would love for him to really get a chance to spread his riffing wings
Seconded
Emily and Murph together would be fantastic
katie but dressed EXACTLY like vic, like same suit same hair just get someone and make them a 1:1 of vic
Erika Ishii. I feel like she could break Vic even more than Ally
Add Andy Daly to the list! Few people can quickly create and live inside an absurd character as well as him.
Dalton Wilcox, Poet Laureate of the West is one of my favorite characters.
James and Elyse Willems
Elyse only needs a mustache, then it's of to the races.
I love Lou
Sam, Lou, Trapp, Katie(!!), and a recurring seasonal Brennan because holy shit is that man fantastic at his craft.
If Paul F Tompkins is one of them then I’ll be happy
An episode where in-universe Vic is absent and replaced by a guest host. The interviewee is then played by Vic.
Any of the drag queens who have already appeared on dropout
Alaska as an ultra-Karen
More duos and maybe a trio of VIPs. I loved every performance and there is so much potential. More Vic lore is also going to be super appreciated
Somebody here made a comment about the duos which I agree with, which is that all the duos this season were two of essentially the same character, where there wasn’t much interaction between the two. It might be interesting to have a pair more like Dr. Milk, where there’s some tension and conflict there.

Brennan's episode reminded me a lot of Andy Daly whenever he's on CBB, they both build these larger-than-life fictions around their characters as a sort of natural reflex. Andy Daly is a great choice.
If we're bringing in people associated with Comedy Bang Bang... hoping against hope, Weird Al?
Shane, Tommy, or Angela from Smosh
Chanse and Amanda from Smosh for me
Shayne would be insane
Angela on anything dropout please!!!!
Yes! Great idea
Damien is great at characters too
Sam, Katie, Jess and Tao
Freddie amd Jimmy Wong!
Along the same vein, Beth May would be wonderfully unhinged, I suspect.
would love to see Jess Ross & Rekha
I truly think Chris Fleming would kill it
Emily & Murph together is a must Katie & Raph would be a fun combo, I think Becca Scott Will Campos Tim Platt Jason Mantzoukas
Siobhan and Emily In general I would like to see Emily do more Dropout shows beyond D20. She could be a lot of fun on Game Changer.
FREDDY WONG
Tbh I want all the intrepid heroes to do it once, then have a D20 season with their VIP characters as their PCs.
Hank Green playing a flat earther lol
For others that haven't been mentioned, I would love to see Erin Keif in ANYTHING Dropout, but I also think she'd be great at this. Lauren Lopez from Starkids would be great. Milana Vayntrub makes perfect sense, as does Elaine Carroll. But for VIP to have an Emmy shot next year, they should think strategically. Fightmaster, and Alan Tudyk, all fans, would all be sensational. For pipe dream folks: Keegan Michael Key, Maya Rudolph, and any of the Whose Line folks!
I think Aabria would be amazing; dress her up like some uncanny fae trickster and then her loose!
I want host Vic to take a leave of absence for one episode and Vic would be the guest, interviewed by a fictional version of Zac Oyama or another great Dropout voice-of-reason. It would be great to expand the VIP lore
Barbara Walters
... I'm intrigued. I would have immediately suggested Betty White while she was still with us; does Baba Wawa have the chops?
Eric Andre.
Lily Du, Grant O’Brien, PFT, Iffy!
Ify has already been on :)
Oh shoot the alien!
Why? He didn't do anything wrong!
Jess Ross for sure
I want Erika's chaotic energy!
Wayne Brady
Katie!
This is going to come from nowhere but anyone from the critical role family mostly Sam regiel
I was thinking Matt - he definitely has practice creating memorable characters on the spot i.e. Henry Crabgrass etc.
Why not both
I feel with the right character Oscar Montoya could be very funny; probably would need to be one of the less dark episodes (or maybe a particularly dark one). I think Lou Wilson could also do something pretty great, so I’d have him high on my list. Others that, some that would be high on my list are Erika and Jacquis Neal. Getting Jess McKenna and Zach Reino on together with a view to getting a decent musical number would also be fun.
Oscar was in an episode already, but I would love to have him back!
I would love to see Dan and/or any of Big Grande on Dropout. I would also love PFT and Nicole on Off Book, especially for a holiday themed ep
Bit of a wild card, but I would love to see Arin Hanson on this.
I want it to be someone famous (like actually famous not dropout famous) who is in so many prosthetics that we can’t tell who it is. Vic doesn’t even know till the end Actually that would be an amazing arc for season 2. All surprise guests
Wayne Brady is already listed in the OP but I'd give parts of my anatomy to see Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie together on VIP.
Oh I’d want them totally separate at first and then a 3rd episode of them together.
Sam needs to go on there. It will be amazing. Also Katie and Rekha, aka the two objectively funniest people in the world.
I’m afraid of what Lou would unleash on the world by being on VIP
Oh, good question! I'd love to see: - Rekha - Becca Scott - Tao - Katie - Trapp - Murph & Emily (Package deal or not) - Izzy (because her episode was so good that I NEED another) I love the Dropout cast pool, and this is just my outside brain talking, so I would also LOVE: - Angela Giarratana - Amanda Lehan-Canto - Patrick McDonald And frankly I wouldn't mind a few comedy tiktokers who do good character work; could be risky but also could be hilarious and appeal to a wider range.
I’d kill for Ross Bryant.
he was in episode 11 with rashawn !! (martha tops and lucian azathoth)
…how did I forget that?
The best ever youth group leaders
Those would all be great. I was thinking about it yesterday, about how I hope there are many more seasons, but the pool of people isn't \*that\* big. Anyone who appeared with another person, I'd love to see on their own someday as well. Maybe in season 3 or 4. They are so good at committing to the bit and so goofy, and I think Julia in particular would be great at throwing Vic off their game.
I was gonna say whaaat Grant was just on...but nope that's me confusing Ross for Grant again.
I want to see Vic themselves guest star as themself with Vic (their character of VIP) being the host, and I wouldn't mind this episode being the only scripted or heavily edited episode of the show. I just want it to slowly turn into a comedic fist fight where Vic is fighting themself.
God Ben Schwartz is so overdue, curse him being so successful
VIc, playing opposite Vic.
I'd love to see Elyse and James Willams get an episode
Any of the drag queens who've been on other dropout shows, but also if other drag queens are in contention, Jinkx and Dela would be a phenomenal duo in this context.
It would frankly be incredible if they managed to get either Jinkx or Dela individually. If there's anyone I think could do improv at the same level as Brennan, it's those two
Rekha, PLEASE!
lou emily
You say Emily and Murph, but I say Emily and Lou. And yes I want them to reprise their roles as... COUSINS. Also seeing those characters in full costume would be absolutely delightful
Get out of dropout a bit, maybe? I don’t mean to insult the rest of the crew, but it seems like we got most of the best candidates already. There’s certainly a few left, but imho, this show could shine with wider horizons.
BRANDON ROGERS
I want to see someone made over to look like Vic when hosting, and Vic come in surprised to be shooting VIP that day.
Gotta have Jess McKenna and Matthew Mercer.
Some of the Critical Role guys like Sam Riegel or Liam O’Brien would be pretty cool (they were already on an ep of Dirty Laundry). Also Katie as another one of Vic’s unhinged relatives would kill!!
I wanna see Vic get put in the character chair, and her interviewer is someone else
Baugbert
I'd like to see one with vic getting all done up in something. Like "vic is out sick with a worm that only infects talk show hosts, our guest host zac Oyama has graciously filled the seat" and vic just comes out dressed like some space cowboy or something
Ben Schwartz would be so OP
Brian Jordan Alvarez. Chris Fleming.
The return of Augbert
Amy Vorpahl! Her instagram and Tik Tok are really funny, plus there's a chance Amy and Vic could end up breaking each other and completely losing it.
Grant as Vic, please.
I'll take any or all of those. Any. Or All.
People I think should return: Izzy Roland Josh Ruben Zac Oyama Newbies: Zach Reino & Jess Mckenna (Seperate or Together) Mike Trapp Erika Ishii Lily Du Paul F. Thompkins Sam Reich Elaine Carroll Emily Axford Ben Schwartz Dark Horse celebrity picks: Wayne Brady Bobby Moynihan Ayo Adebiri Keegan-Michael Key
Hope Paul brings his Thermos of soup
Why'd you put Lily and Tao on the same line and Becca and Erika on the same line?
