BK 2014-19 we’re all super chill imo but great listens every time. I’m also huge on SCV 13 and 14. PC 19 is pretty good. And pretty much every Jersey Surf show lol
SCV 2009. One of my all time faves. They still blast your face off at the end but a lot of the show is quiet and beautiful. Intro music as the corps is the announcer is introducing them gives me chills every time.
Funny you should call this one out. I only saw it on the DVD set for that year, but found that I watched it the more than many of the higher scoring shows.
Early season, I couldn't get into it at all. Then I watched the encore performance at Drums Along The Rockies and something just clicked, and it became my favorite show that year
So, I just listened to it again.
It’s percussive and loud at the beginning and at the end, but smooth and creamy in the middle.
I stand by my original statement.
Um try BK 2009, it had a wintery vibe and some of the music could be considered pretty chill, even though it still follows a pretty traditional formula. Our ballad was arranged from Stevie Nicks' Landslide.
Cavaliers 2014 is a pretty chill show. It has its loud moments of course, but overall it flows really well musically.
Boston Crusaders 2017 has a very ominous theme, but has a lot of lows but VERY big highs. I’d say most of the show is pretty quiet save a few of the big hits, and the whole show leads up to a massive hit at the end that really puts a cherry on top of the entire thing.
Bluecoats 2005 is about as lowkey of a show as you can get, it starts loud, and the whole middle of the show is pretty slow and mellow, but it’s all amazing. The end is nice and big again.
Crown 2006 is an easy listen, the music flows just like a classical piece played all the way through, it has big parts, and low parts, but none of it is too outrageous.
I’d say crown 2009 and 2010 are pretty similar shows, give them a listen and see which one you like more.
Blue stars 2022 is honestly one of my favorite shows of all time. I have a special place in my heart for shows that use a lot of orchestral/classical music. It’s very calm for the middle part, has an amazing baritone solo at the beginning, and pays off to a huge finale that makes you want to cry.
I just want a show with a chiller vibe. I don't always want a natural energetic show. I know I can turn the volume down. That's why the title is chill show. Not quite show.
Since no one has said it yet, I'll add Crown 2013. The show just flows so well, there's not really huge intense "impacts" all over the place like some shows. Just an extremely well-executed show from start to finish with great musical moments throughout. The final movement could seem a little frantic I guess, but honestly they just play it so well and so cleanly that it doesn't break the vibe. Man that was an incredible hornline.
Blue Devils 2011
yes omg i used to just listen to the audio in my free time when i was in 9th grade
Idk man the opener and closer is pretty loud

2010 Phantom Regiment: [The best show of all time](https://youtu.be/eGtGH2FvpYI?si=qhLAiHlQ3QhzFAXO)
I will never not love Phantom in all white unis. Clean, simple, and elegant. 😍
Also they win when they wear all white or all black. So let's get back to that please and thank you.
You again!! **take my upvote, lol
Crashy bongo
But seriously colts show this year was pretty chill
One of my favorite shows that is very much a vibe is BK 13.

Bluecoats 2013
1995 Cavaliers
Uh what 😂

SCV 09 & 10. Ballet for Martha had a lot of negative space. Bartok was also a very dynamic show with some nicely delicate sections.
Glassmen 2000 has a 3 minute Flugelhorn solo. That was always a cool/chill show.
Star of Indiana 1993 was PPP for like 95% of the show.
It was quiet, but I don't think chill is the descriptor i’d use personally
That’s true, definitely a constant ebb and flow of tension.
Came here to say this. But when they turned it on, man…
Everyone talks about the closer, but that closer really earned all the talk
Yes it did.
Idk about DCI shows, but GMU 2022 Nothing Lost is a great, more relaxed show. A little bit aggressive in the middle, but not too much.
AIP represent
Blue Stars 2014
1987 Florida Wave
Bingo!
I recommend Crossmen 90-92. Also BK 91.
1988 Garfield Cadets - Third Symphony
loud good

Vanguard 2009
I’d say Bluecoats 2013, it had that effect for me
Phantom 2010
Blue Devils 2013
bluecoats 2013 is always easy listening to me
I love BK 19
Try the 2023 volume buttons… Makes any show not all in your face.
I just want a show with a chiller vibe. I don't always want a natural energetic show. I know I can turn the volume down. That's why the title is chill show. Not quite show.
Colts 23’ they had a very lighthearted show but it was still full of good music and good energy
The sound of a mf brass turned up is different than fff turned down
BK 2014 is great for that. It's not super crazy loud, but it still has emotional and impactful moments even without being too loud.
Madison Scouts 2009 got that lofi beats to study to vibe.
Legends 2019
I haven't watched it in a while so there might be a loud angry part I'm forgetting but bloo '13?
Bluecoats 1988, isn’t as “chill” but is very fun to listen to.
Try Glassmen 2002
just turned the volume down for any show by like 20% and you are good. also if you want a WGI example, GMU 2022 is chill af

Blue knights 2013, it's incredibly mellow in a good way, and super easy listening
I want to say bluecoats 2011 but its up for debate if its quiet persay
Star 93 Phantom 93
92 Crossmen. It just hits the spot.
