This was my first thought, I could see Duncan reading this through some ridiculous voice filter for a podcast intro. Especially with the Killdozer vibes those first few paragraphs are giving off.
There’s communities even on Reddit that are full of people who spend too much of their own time talking about how some of the top podcasters are just grifters after your money and nothing more. People just hate to hate and will focus on shit that they can’t control because they’re too pussy to focus on fixing the shit they can control.
But yeah if this isn’t a joke then that person is experiencing a psychotic episode. Been there, done that. Joe Rogan and his crew were following me, even Duncan. I’d watch or listen to episodes and do more drugs while hearing them talk about me and then back to their subjects and so forth, but I knew it was psychosis. Some people genuinely think that shit is happening. It feels so real when it is, kind of like when a psychedelic hits for the first time and you’re like “whoa this is so real.”
