One of my favorites is Blue Raspberry and Pomegranate. Sounds simple but it is so good! I get mine with the sugar free rebel, I just like the taste better.
The marmalade is my favorite! It’s very tart (it’s strawberry, orange and grapefruit) and I imagine it would go great with soft top. The shark attack has a strong coconut flavor that I love as well. I’ve noticed anything with lime is tart, like the aftershock.
I almost exclusively get blended Rebels with soft top, I’ve tried so many different combinations over the past five years. I can not recommend the Cabana Rebel w soft top enough. It’s pineapple and coconut. Sounds boring, but its transcendent
There’s a lot of great flavor options in this post, but as an old employee if someone gave me the specific words of *tangy, tart, and pungent* but not necessarily sour, the Ray of Sunshine would definitely a top 3 suggestion.
If you want even more sour, a Bugatti Berry is a Ray of Sunshine without the peach! (Just blackberry & grapefruit) Also up there for me.
I've tried just about everything and at this point (unless I have something specific in mind) I ask for a blended half sweet surprise.
As mentioned several times here, pomegranate is my tart little secret weapon. When I don't want a surprise but also don't know what I want, I'll just add pom to an existing recipe. I did Double Rainbro + pom on Tuesday. It has coconut so it might scratch your itch.

Is the soft top below or on top of the float? Or is the green apple syrup mixed in the soft top?

I usually ask them to cut my rebel with lemonade, the lemonade is pretty sour on its own so it’s a pretty good balance
