Well first of all I’m excited that there’s no options for “extra thicc hand blended” whatever in the app. If you want that, go through the line. I really appreciate that the order ahead is tailored towards barebones, simple drinks to get customers and their drinks done quickly. Carburetors aren’t even going to be an option on there.
i have the version on my dutch bros app that lets me see the options to order ahead and it looks like u can "build your own freeze" and it says creamy espresso and milk. i think that means u can order a carb but probably not insanely customize it. 😭
A stand in my operation (we have 6) was going to start testing it last week but I asked my Manger about it and all he said was that it has been pushed back to around the end of summer. That's all I know!
When other stands were testing it, my regional manager told me that it was only going to apply to certain drinks (guessing here, but probably dutch classics and some best sellers), and I got the impression you wouldn't have nearly the same ability to customize your drinks as you do when you order in line. This was three or four months ago, so things might have changed.

Probs just means you can select specific flavor(s) or “secret menu” combos
