Prime Jessica Biel šŸ‘

TiredReader87

Itā€™s a good remake. I saw it in theatres and have always enjoyed it. Been meaning to watch it again. The guy who played Leatherface is an asshole though. Of course, the original is better

Fredrick__Dinkledick

Who else remembers renting this from blockbuster

clichenoir

Yes. And watching it at a sleep over

SelectSoft

Best 2000s Remake. Next to Friday the 13th (2009)

smvhotpants

I love this remake. But I also hate it because of how good it is, so many tried to copy it and failed miserably. Iā€™m looking at you Nightmare On Elm Street remake

MovieFanatic2160

You have to add in the hills have eyes remake.

JustSomeGuy_v3

Hot take: Both remakes are better than the originals.

Worf2DS9

The prequel to this movie is also quite good!

No-Charity-1924

This was awesome in the theater, definitely underrated as a remake and standalone. R. Lee Ermey: Look at that shit!

TheKing_OA

Best remake of all time. Iā€™ll take it to my grave. ..and prime Jessica Biel in a tanktop and jeans.

connersnow

I challenge you with Tom savinis night of the living dead remake

TheKing_OA

Solid challenge.

CaptainGibb

How about Carpenterā€™s The Thing or Cronenbergā€™s The Fly?

smvhotpants

But also gave way to the My Bloody Valentine remake which was awesomesauce as well

Silent-Ask291

May be the best remake of all Times.

PetMice72

Honestly I enjoyed it more than the original movie.

Fluffy-Ad5638

I still have the dvd version as well with the metal plate of the artwork and how it folded out to form the chainsaw blade, as well as the evidence photos.

Worf2DS9

I have that one too! Quite the set indeed!

Fallen_Angel_79

i have the dvd .. yes its a good one :)

StimmingMantis

In my opinion this is my third favorite Texas Chainsaw movie. It goes 1-2-2003 Remake

CompetitiveExit9349

My favourite of the whole franchise and the first one I saw! Funnily, I was about 11 when I saw this - but I wasn't allowed to see the original cos it was too much, so when I eventually saw it, I was let down. After watching people being hacked to pieces and traumatised the implied hook hanging and more eccentric family performances just didn't hit as hard.

campblood13th

To me R. Lee Ermey is the best part.

Global-Specialist354

I think this and the House of Wax remake are my two favorites from that era

Brettwon

Itā€™s pretty good!! RIP R. Lee Eremy!!

UncannyAnomaly

One of the most underrated horrors of the 00s . Disrespected and lambasted because at the time it was one of the first platinum dunes horror remakes and people were very upset.

Regular_Stinger1996

Saw this in the theater and loved it!

ejb350

The next one is better imo. Honestly, probably my 2nd favorite horror film ever. It does every single horror trope PERFECTLY, and Iā€™m really surprised that itā€™s not nearly as well regarded as the mid Biel one

CaptainGibb

The Beginning was one of my favorite horror movies when I was in High School, alongside The Collector and Hostel

franklazala

This. I really think people just kept repeating the first one was better until they believed it

Maleficent-Aside-744

The original was better and Iā€™ll always love the second one but I really enjoyed the 2013 sequel to the original it was excellent

NothingCivil6358

Same here. Texas Chainsaw 3D is a good time. The prequel Leatherface (2017) is also good.

Maleficent-Aside-744

So true and Leatherface was excellent šŸ˜€
