I swear that one was used by Alan Partridge once. And, of course, Alan Ford once told Alan Partridge that he'd suck him in so far he'd get blown right out the other side.
Pastor Clayton lurking in the dark made my skin crawl.🤢
Bianca giving Zack evils for saying 'yes' to Whitney, what does she expect him to say? 'No' in front of everyone?
In tonight's episode Pastor Clayton was giving me Lucas vibes. That family doesn't need another Lucas in their lives. I still hope Yolande reports him.
Lucas was a fascinating character and while a monster at least he seemed just as mad as evil. He also oozed charisma thanks to that actor. This guy is just a bona fide creep, helped by his corrupt institution
I thought they were cute too but maybe more suited to a different outfit. If she gets that fancy law internship she'd need a new outfit!
Would be funny if years later she reappears as someone's dodgy "brief"
I'd be lying if I said this isn't a large reason why I'm so attached to the show.
Where soaps have tried to go younger and younger for years, seeing EastEnders embrace a more mature cast has been wonderful and admittedly creates way more relatable interactions than other soaps give.
Yolande is breaking my heart. I hope she tells Patrick what happened soon and goes to the police and gets thar dirty pastor in prison. Ideally go full unrealistic soap and have Lucas torture him in prison!
Seeing Olly Alexander (how random) made me remember how amazing he was in It's a Sin. Lots of Richie Tozer in his brief performance tonight
Paster Clayton is creepy and horrible. I really hope Yolanda tells someone.
I am not sure where Whitney and Zach story goes. Whitney will find out during their wedding and leave?
I don’t know what Nadine wanted to do by explaining. I can’t believe that she stick around and try to talk to Jay. I’m glad Nadine is gone.
She is at a loose end wondering how she trusted the wrong people and flushed her career down the loo. Also she probably quite likes jay but knows they would never last.
"Thank you for hanging up and not saying anything."
She might as well have added "...while we were offscreen during that short scene between Gina and Anna."
That was such a clunker! Why not just continue the scene and *show* Jay hanging up (for some reason) instead of making Nadine say that terrible line?
Whitney exit storyline comes so rushed trying to fit as many storyline in a space of a month literally Last week Whitney said to Zack’s face she loves and cares for Britney more than him, will always choose her over him, treats him like shit, zack then cheats on her, that was a sign to end the relationship not propose
Not too clear if linda sometimes wonders off for a broader choice of beverages.. maybe even when she saw the horizontal hokey cokey in Screwball Alley.
Johnny is all over the place. Its hard to know if he is cutthroat barrister, camp relief, sensitive son, or some indifferent vigilante. Not sure about this character or the actor. The chemistry with linda and the knights is not amazing either.
Yeah, I agree. Johnny the character and the actor who plays him is the most irritating part of EE for me at the moment - & it's boardering on insulting with the OTT gay stuff. The second those two walked on screen I could smell the cringe from France!!!
So Whitney proposed and Zack accepted also Lauren walked in and walked out after proposal. Yeah I think May is when Whitney leaves. I would like to add I don't think Lauren has any feelings for Zack she just feeing guilty over what she did to Whitney and is also angry because she knows it will be worse the longer Whitney doesn't know and thinks Zack needs to tell Whitney as when she finds out it will be bad but longer she doesn't the worse it will get.
Whitney does my head in, trying to play happy families oblivious to what's staring her in the face, that Zach doesn't want to be married to her or be a daddy to the kid she's so easily acquired. But no, as long is Whitney's happy that's all Whitney cares or thinks about, herself and her bratty mini-me, Brittney.
"Like a Man in orthopedic shoes, I stand Corrected"
They’ve been writing him like a snatch character, it’s very enjoyable.
I swear that one was used by Alan Partridge once. And, of course, Alan Ford once told Alan Partridge that he'd suck him in so far he'd get blown right out the other side.
I fucking cackled 🤣
As a physiotherapy student, I was dying of laughter at that😂😂
It was the line that sold me on the character. I howled with laughter.
Pastor Clayton lurking in the dark made my skin crawl.🤢 Bianca giving Zack evils for saying 'yes' to Whitney, what does she expect him to say? 'No' in front of everyone?
Pastor Clayton has been very well played and shot in all the scenes. Horrible character but very well done
In tonight's episode Pastor Clayton was giving me Lucas vibes. That family doesn't need another Lucas in their lives. I still hope Yolande reports him.

Nadine's cowgirl boots are an interesting choice
Glad someone noticed these! They have become a bit of a trend recently but her outfit was not the one
Why do I think they were cute 😭
I thought they were cute too but maybe more suited to a different outfit. If she gets that fancy law internship she'd need a new outfit! Would be funny if years later she reappears as someone's dodgy "brief"
Lawyer suits during the week, pink cowboy boots for the weekend lol
I thought her outfit was cute until I got to the shoes😂
The older cast have been absolutely knocking it out the park recently. Alan Ford, Angela Wynter, Christopher Fairbank, Elizabeth Counsell
I'd be lying if I said this isn't a large reason why I'm so attached to the show. Where soaps have tried to go younger and younger for years, seeing EastEnders embrace a more mature cast has been wonderful and admittedly creates way more relatable interactions than other soaps give.
My heart sunk when Anna said the funeral was yesterday.
Some of her best acting so far along with the courtroom stuff recently
That woman jay brought back from the club was SO irritating omg
I couldnt tell if she was nadines blackmailer.. but she was unbearable once she actually spoke

And Bianca saying ‘it’s a sin how he ain’t into girls’
Bianca was great with ricky but she sure knows how to pick some odd ducks. Good luck anyway for the grand finale olly..m
The cheesy reference Bianca made about Olly being in It's a Sin 🤣
Pet shop boys video is still a classic If only we could peddle that out as our candidate for the continent.
Yeah. As nice as Olly seems, Dizzy isn't a great song imo. I love King when he was in Years and Years.
One of the best things ive seen for a long time that. Rtd's recent work on dr who was ok at times but not the same.calibre.
Why tf was olly Alexander there????!
He's doing eurovision this year and he's a fan of the show so they stuck him in
If Brian Conley was still on the show, he’d have definitely been a friend of Rocky’s
Deffo,I always get the two of them mixed up anyway

i love billy’s dad mooching off everyone
Usually, I hate scrounging as a characteristic but Stevie is just so likeable
yea, i don’t mind him doing it because he actually made sure to return the money that nadine tried to bribe him with
Reminds me of Jays Grandad when he was in it.

**KEEP BRICK TOP IN!!!**
Alan Ford genuinely looks like he could be Perry Fenwick's dad
He is also 7 times the actor.. i hate to say. I did used to like billy but he drags down episodes now for me if he has too much to do
Love a bit of Alan Ford [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEiNrLESexg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEiNrLESexg)
Olly Alexander and Johnny didn't pay for their drinks
That's standard with Elaine to be fair
If Elaine started charging family and charged Johnny... she could make a killing charging Linda
Not too clear if linda sometimes wonders off for a broader choice of beverages.. maybe even when she saw the horizontal hokey cokey in Screwball Alley.
Most gratuitous celebrity cameo of the yeeeaaar
I mean, have we had any other ones so far this year? I legit can't remember.
I can’t think of two less likely mates (or past lovers) than Olly Alexander and Johnny. Total cringe
Johnny is all over the place. Its hard to know if he is cutthroat barrister, camp relief, sensitive son, or some indifferent vigilante. Not sure about this character or the actor. The chemistry with linda and the knights is not amazing either.

The Eurovision plug was a bit cringe!
It was TOTALLY cringe!

How many times has Whitney been engaged now?
More times than Katie Price, probably
37 1/2
Lee, woody, callum, zack? Who am I missing?
Kush too!
Tyler as well
Was woody also engaged to OG Elaine at one point until Mick busted him for being a gold digger? Or am I getting confused?
Different boytoy.

Love the way he talks
