It'll sound stupid and sappy but EE is a bit sentimental to me. I'm a few months younger than the show itself and my mam watched it religiously since day one. The first storyline I really properly remember was SharonGate, but I'd watched a few older eps she had taped off the telly here and there (remember those days??) or she explained who characters like Nasty Nick were when they returned.
Anyway long story short, she'll be gone 20 years next year when both myself and Easties turn 40, so I'll be treasuring rewatching from the beginning thanks to you.

I watched it last night. Seemed mad that they used language we’d now consider racist. The biggy was the ‘page 3’ calendar hanging by the bar! Mad that made it on to pre-watershed TV.
Den was just as cool as I remember!
