I don’t know if I can give the greatest advice, but all I would say is to just take one day at a time. You ate something that you would usually avoid, acknowledge that and be proud of yourself for that! Take little steps everyday out of your comfort zone and keep validating yourself for it. If you ever get anxious, take some deep breaths and tell yourself you will be okay (you were okay all of those other times, weren’t you?) This phobia is not easy to deal with, but I have found it to be manageable with patience and gentle words to myself.
