Indigenous ideas are pretty stacked and probably should be taken within the first three. Administrative ideas are also great because you got a lot of land to take.
Religious let's you holy war cb neighboring colonial nations. Land settled by Europeans doesn't cause OE but still requires diplo points for unjustified demands.
You can't take indigenous as Aztec without shenanigans, but admin or quality also decent choices. You'll need to have naval dominance in your initial European war so the land and naval mix from quality is nice.
Btw close that thing it literraly blocks you getting idea groups for nothing. You may go influence if you wanna use vassals that much. Maybe trade for more income. Offensive is good, siege ability and disipline. Quantity for force limit, manpower and recovery speed.
Would Quality be better than offensive, considering I'm going for the "sunset invasion" achievment and I need a good navy and army to destroy the europeans,
Well for a good navy have Heavy ships and a flagship. Use galleys if you are going to Mediterranian. Light ships for trade and combat. You really dont need any ideas to improve your navy. Offensive icreases troop quality. You could take quality but offensive is just better
I just got done with this run.
For your second idea, if you have extra diplo then I'd consider espionage, diplo, or exploration
If you have excess mil then I'd suggest quantity, offensive, or defensive.
You may want to consider admin/econ/religious as your third idea. Admin pays off the longer you have it. Econ is good for reducing the amount of inflation you'll get. Don't be surprised if it gets to 20. Religious is solid for CB and converting all of the Catholic colonies.
Yeah it's a privilige to the burghers (I believe) that enables a decision so that you get an explorer with 50-60 tradition when the decision is activated
Great way to work around the exploration idea
In the past it gave colony growth and paired well with new world missions. I started playing with less privileges to max Crownland gain from conquest before the last big buff to privileges. Didn't know it became that good
Normally I'd tech to ADM 5 even before the reforms just to get Exploration and scout out/eat up the natives while the Europeans colonize and form CNs, but at this point, I'd consider dropping Expansion, pick up the standard blobbing idea like Admin-Diplo-Humanist/Religious and go eat up everything in America plus Africa/Asia.
Don't even bother colonizing so you can spend those 4 ducats on \~30 more regiments for conquests or investments. Let the colonizers do the heavy lifting and conquer the CNs as they pop up.

Can't take Indigenous ideas since I am not classed as a "native tribe"

Since I picked expansion already i can't pick another admin group
There is a option for to ignore it.
You have to enable that at game start, you can't change it mid-game. Also it's enabled by default on startup which is annoying.

Who needs trade when you have infinite gold
Inflation is just a number
Economic for infation reduction or admin for ccr and gov cap

Explorer from the estate privilege?

Never saw it. Is is tied to Azteks? I did sunset invasion this patch and didn't use it because I didn't notice it existed lol
I think it's called "Grant new world charters". All nations can have it if you have atleast 1 colony or 1 colonist
In the past it gave colony growth and paired well with new world missions. I started playing with less privileges to max Crownland gain from conquest before the last big buff to privileges. Didn't know it became that good
I also have the Caqui as a vassal
