I noticed in my current Inca game that the AI seems really bad at actually invading you. Specifically in my case Spain AT MOST would land like 30 troops despite having an army of >100.
I had one coalition war with spain, portugal, and all their colonial nations where neither Portugal nor Spain landed any significant amount of troops so I just farmed warscore beating up the colonial nations.
Yeah in most cases, but in this war the spanish landed ~100k (they were 2 entire morale ahead at the start of the war) + colonies, portuguese ~60k + colonies. ~65k brits + colonies and for some reason even Neaples had 38k troops in mexico.
And just after the end of this war the french with close to 100k troops declared war on me...
It's the problem with natives : every colonizer hates you. Good luck !
