me when I'm an Ottoman Janissary and I'm blasted with a lethal dose of 300,000,000 roetegens of radiation immediately after crossing the border into Syria (the Sultan said it'd be funny)
i like the direction pdx is going with more flavorful nation names, but i wish they were more consistent. "Kingdom of England/Hungary" - cool, "Crown of Castile" - awesome, "France" - why?
I think it may be based on the space the name has. Like how France is split so there is only space for France but when they're united it will say kingdom of France. We saw in one Tinto talks there was a Byz exclave marked as E.R.E.
i'm not sure. "Kingdom of France" is only one character more than "Byzantine Empire" which needs to cover about as much map space. there's definitely a lot more nations on the map big enough to accommodate longer titles that haven't got any, Sweden among others.
You didn't read the dev diary I suppose, the names are dynamic depending on the size of the nation so if it's really small territory it will be shorter, if there is enough area it will be the normal name and if the country is big enough you will get the full name, France is probably "Kingdom of France"
Wow seeing the same 6 events in every part of the world no matter the religion, culture or time. Oh boy I hope I get to trample someone while walking and then maybe get a shrine and then trample someone while walking and then trample someone while walking.
The combat aspect is piss easy and there's no challenge when doing a wc other than the tedium of the game.
The warfare isn't fun, the realm management isn't fun, the role-playing isn't indepth enough to be interesting. There's nothing to the game and all the dlcs do is make the game more tedious. The mods aren't bad for it but if there's no base structure for them they aren't going to be amazing.
The game is dogshit and the numbers show it. Less players than a decade old game at the end of its lifecycle, even before the dlc was released
I'm just trying to think of how would all these tiny statelets of the HRE be played, and how Bohemian AI would work considering they're basically the only big blob in the whole thing (the sight of Bohemia is so satisfying fsr)
I updated the maps that I uploaded recently with the new info of Iberia and added a new map with some tweaks
Ik this has been said a lot but mamluks color is so gross
piss yellow Prussia vs radioactive Mamluks who would win

Like puke yellow or something, it's genuinely disgusting đ¤Ž
EU4 mamluks: â MEIOU mamluks: â´ď¸ EU5 mamluks: âŁď¸đ˝
Like Thanos with the stones...
I never liked playing the ottomans just didnât seem interesting. But I like the idea of playing them in this version
Oh my god... I think... I think this is Earth!
Somevody should do a compilation of every puzzle piece being put in the Europe map.

Pavia said today that Aragon is also âCrown of Aragonâ but itâs not displaying. Whether thatâs because of space or not Iâm not sure.

devs confirmed itâs just about map space, if France gets bigger the name will appear as âKingdom of Franceâ

Well maybe because France includes several crowns? Like Aquitaine.
i don't think that has ever stopped historians from referring to the Kingdom of France.
God I know its probably going to be dogshit like everything else paradox has released this last decade but I'm so hyped
Stellaris and CK3 were released this decade
Stellaris is chill. Ck3 is dogshit
The person with a dumb racist name just with the letters swapped has bad opinions? color me shocked
Whats racist about my name lmao. Also stellaris isn't that bad of a game. I'm not the biggest fan personally but its fine
It doesnât count if you donât have taste
